I have never experienced such poor customer service and rude people at Albertsons before. My husband and I went through the self check out. After scanning everything we had to wait for the employee in the area as we were purchasing alcohol. My husband pulled out his ID l, she checked it and asked for mine. I said it was in the truck and she told us she would not allow us to check out without both our IDs. Which is fine, I get it, so I went to the truck to get it. While I was doing that the employee logged into the register to enter the birthday for the alcohol purchase but she walked away to help someone else leaving her credentials up. The screen however asked for a birthday so my husband entered it thinking he would help things move along faster. When the lady came back over she was visibly mad that my husband entered his own birthday saying he approved his own purchase and he was not allowed to do that. She was rude and unprofessional in her attitude and wording as well as being very loud. She told us we had to go to customer service as she was refusing to sale to us because he did that. My husband tried to tell her, āyou entered your stuff and walked away, it asked for my birthday so I entered it. Iām not trained on this, I didnāt realize that was approving my own purchase!ā She refused to listen to what he was saying and finally he told her to keep the alcohol and he would just pay for the food. She said no and called a manager over who did not even listen to what we were trying to tell him but said āwell if she refuses to sale to you then thatās her call.ā And he proceeded to pick up the alcohol and walk away. We were dumbfounded as my husband already said he didnāt want it! This women employee is the one who was in the wrong as she should not have logged in and walked away from the register leaving it unattended. She also should not have been rude to a customer, as my husband and I were by no means being rude to her at all! And the manager, if you can call him that, should have been trained to listen to the customer and make things right instead of just grabbing the alcohol and waking away! Very unprofessional! It is deplorable behavior by some staff and management. As long as I have shopped at this Alberstsons over the years, 9 total, I have never had to be the recipient of such immature, childish behavior by some of the staff and management simply because I shop there often. As much money as I have brought to this Albertsons table nothing but courtesy should be shown to customers like myself. But in fact it is the opposite and their focus continues to remain on me. Staff and management I convey this to you now. If laughing and talking about a customer who has never done you wrong, then remember this it is time to take this to the next level. Be rest assured that I will be here today, tomorrow, next week, next month and my consistency shall remain. Grow up and get over it. It is time you realize that a customer may shop as often as they like and no matter how that comes across to you it truly is none of your business nor concern and nothing to get your panties in an uproar about. Some of you need retraining to get your ill placed focus off of me and unto your work. Your focus is wrong. I am there to get my shopping done like any other customer and you will not change that. Trust that if this behavior persists from you I will take this to the next level. If anyone from acting management, management and staff flank me in the intersections and isles of the store and I feel you are doing so, I will call you out and begin the process of correcting this situation. Your regional and national bosses will be very busy. In all of my 9 years shopping at this Albertsons I have never seen such a display of low mental fortitude regarding one particular customer. Ā Ā Ā Read moreNice selection, the lettuce was exceptional nice. The heads of lettuce had great firmness, as opposed to soft heads of lettuce that we seem to only find lately. I know it's not the stores fault they get what they get. The older gentlemen in the produce aisle are always very helpful and will not just point us to where the item is, but he will show us. If we ask for better quality product than what is out he will gladly go look to see what he has, unless he knows that's all he has. Now for the issue. The candy aisle had 3 employees, boxes, and a big cart stocking which made it very difficult to get through. The employee on the floor made us afraid to just push our cart past, so, we said something and she just said it was fine. I know they have a job to do, but somehow if they could have used a smaller cart at a time so it wasn't as crowded so customers could comfortably pass by. The deli which I didn't buy from this trip, but generally I have an issue with them not cleaning or at least wiping the slicer when slicing cheese. Many times my white cheese has several pieces that look very orange from cheese left on the slicer. Also, we're used to our cheese being separated by paper for every row, but Albertsons Market doesn't do that, which can make it difficult to pull your cheese out of the bag. It's also kind of difficult to get the thickness you ask for. I'm learning that I have to ask them to do one slice and show me what they did, but when I send my husband he doesn't know what the slice should look like, but if we order our cheese sliced on a #2 we should get a fairly thick slice, not a thin slice. I can't order my lunch meat or deli cheese for pick up or delivery because I haven't been happy with what we receive. I only send my husband when I have to because it's only right when I go and have to have them show me what they have sliced. It's frustrating. We do have a nice store and most employees are helpful and most of the cashiers are pleasant...
