Ate there when it opened. Food was good. And everyone nice. It's has went down hill. Food quality was not good. Had the ceviche before and nice presentation in a cut out pineapple and very good. Ribey was a nice presentation as well. This time the ceviche was simple thrown on a plate made totally different. Steak was dry, baked potato not totally cooked. And manager looked like he rolled out of bed in a white t-shirt and pajama pants with crocs shoes. Very unprofessional. Should have known when walking in and not being greeted that this experience would go poorly. Took 15 minutes to take a drink order, 30 additional minutes to come back to take a meal order. The waitress took one persons order and walked away. another 15 minutes of empty glasses, and trying to flag down other waitresses to place our order. a full hour before we eventually just asked for the check for our drinks and suddenly our food is ready. every table around us is has been sitting with empty glasses and waiting for meals. I heard a radio commercial for it and decided to try them for something different. My father said the pork chop special was the best one he'd ever had in a restaurant. I got the steak fajitas and it was great. Large portion, so I took 2/3 of it home. The atmosphere is modern and clean, the staff is very friendly, and the prices were great; for 3 people, our bill was less than when we usually go out to eat and the food was definitely better than the other offerings in town for a sit-down quality meal. The menu isn't extensive but it has a lot of variety. People in Carlsbad always complain that we don't have enough good restaurants, but this one's here and locally-owned! We'll...
