Carmel Beach Walk — Attraction in Carmel-by-the-Sea

Cute neighborhood, good view and good lansdcaping.

The beach itself is pretty and the lansdcaping makes for good photo opportunities as long as you dont mind a crowd and seaweed. It is generally small for a beach as there are bigger, more natural, and enjoyable beaches north, or south.

Facilties should be serviced more or better designed for cleanliness. As I would probably want to use a portable bathroom more, if not for the sink, and foot rinse area.

Parking is obviously a nightmare during any good beach day as its surrounded by a residential area, which is annoying for both visitors AND residents.

Overall, unless you are walking/biking in that area, I would go elsewhere. Very hard to navigate if you have more than 1 cars worth of people.

One of most beautifully maintained beech walk. The amount of the flowers and plants are not here by accidents. It carefully plants and well taking care of. Views are amazing every corner you turn. Mansion on the other sides are extremely beautiful. Small scale compare to other beach town, but meticulously maintained that is such visual feast for me. Come here sunset time would be a treat. Other than the parking situation being dicey, this is a great Beach to stroll on. People, kids, dogs, etc, it's just a great place to stroll around on and marvel at. Off the beach. Is the water. Water. Above the beach is the golf courses. Recommend not even bothering to try to park right along the cliff that leads down to the beach. Just go ahead and park a couple blocks away and walk. And then do some more walking...
