I am absolutely thrilled to share my experience at the adorable and incredible Blue House Bridal in Carmel, Indiana. Let me start by saying that if I had known how amazing their service and dress selection are, I would have never bothered scheduling appointments elsewhere. In fact, I ended up canceling the other appointment I had that day.

My stylist was beyond attentive, and she had a fantastic team supporting her to assist me in my quest for the perfect dress. They took the time to ask for my feedback on each dress I tried on, carefully considering the pros and cons until we reached the moment where I stood before the mirror in my dream dress, tears of joy streaming down my face as my family and friends looked on in awe. It was an epic and emotional experience, truly unforgettable.

One of the things I appreciated most was that we had our own private room, ensuring a comfortable and intimate atmosphere. To top it all off, the owner of Blue House Bridal herself graced us with her expertise at the beginning and end of our appointment. It was evident that they genuinely cared about making my dreams come true.

I was blown away by how quickly they understood my style preferences. With just a glance at my Pinterest board, they effortlessly selected about six dresses that I absolutely adored. Every dress I tried on was stunning, leaving me in awe. However, there was one clear winner that stole my heart.

I also want to mention how considerate they were when it came to my budget. They asked about it upfront and were respectful of it throughout the entire process. It was clear that these women are true professionals who genuinely care about their clients' happiness and satisfaction.

I can't even begin to emphasize how wonderful my experience was. The staff, inventory, and the ambiance of the store combined for a perfect and welcoming experience. Naomi went above and beyond to contact me to confirm & set up the appointment. She was also one of the first faces I saw when I got there and her sweet demeanor put me right at ease! Brittany and Daniela were super attentive when I was describing dresses I had already tried on, my likes and dislikes, and the season/venue/vibes I had been planning for my wedding. They hunted down dresses that came to mind (which, yeah, that's how a bridal appointment works but Brittany just snapped to this particular dress with a purpose and intention that I have not seen from any other boutiques) and pulled a super manageable number of dresses for me to look at. Daniela then let me choose where I wanted to start, and the first dress I picked to try (the one they instantly thought of for me; I did not know this at the time) was the dress I fell in love with. I had gone to the appointment by myself, as my mom has passed away and all of my family and bridal party live in different states, and Daniela singlehandedly filled in all the loving, energetic, and supportive roles a bride could hope for. I did not miss a thing and it was one of the sweetest parts of my wedding planning process so far. I really felt like the women there were some of my oldest friends. On a side note, the house itself elevated the experience so much! It was so cozy and decorated for the holidays, it smelled incredible, it was warm and perfectly decorated... all I'd ever experienced before, both personally and in media, are the absolutely gigantic, more commercial-feeling, Rodeo Drive type places (I'm not saying the Wedding Studio in Carmel, but..........) and it just seems intimidating and impersonal to me. Blue House is a quiet, intimate setting that just provides a comforting nostalgia while you are faced with this huge decision that, there, seems just a little bit...

I LOVED the day that I found my dress at Blue House Bridal! The girls were very welcoming and kind. Daniela was my stylist, and she was very kind and helpful. I had a dress in mind once I looked up their designers, but I really wanted to try on several styles because this was my first time trying on wedding gowns. I ended up falling in love with the first dress I tried on. I never felt pressured to say yes to anything, but I think it was clear on my face that it was the one. Both ladies were nice enough to allow my party and I to stay a little longer to snap some photos.

My one suggestion that I would give Blue House Bridal is that they call their brides to give them the good news that their dress is in and when to set up a time to pick it up. I was contacted via text message that my dress came in. Maybe I'm old school, but as excited as I was reading that text, I wish I would have gotten a phone call instead. We ended up texting back and forth several messages instead of talking on the phone to schedule a pickup date. I still gave them a 5 star though because that is my own opinion and maybe that's just not the norm anymore. I know how busy they are and I used to work in a bridal store so I completely get it. I just hope for the consultants and their brides, maybe they block out times some days for one consultant to call brides and verbally tell them about their dress updates and to schedule a pick up time. I felt as if I was bothering them more and taking up more time texting several messages over a 48 hour period of time instead of a 5 minute phone call.
