I took my Mac Notebook here because there were lines on the screen and you couldn't see the display properly. I was told there would be a $90 fee just to look at the computer, I said okay. I get sent an invoice for $209 to downgrade the software as Mac updates can sometimes causes bugs. If I paid for the repair ($209), the original $90 is taken off so I'd pay $209 total instead of $299 . I was told if the software downgrade doesn't work it would cost an additional 400+ to replace the screen. I declined as I was not comfortable with the lack of guarantee he could give me on this initial $209. If the software update didn't work I didn't feel that I should be responsible for paying for this service. I took it to Apple today and within five seconds the Apple employee knew I needed a screen replacement and said it would be free because it was a wear and tear problem that Apple is responsible for. I don't even have Apple care. I don't know what kind of work this shop does for other people; however, in my situation I would have been out almost $600+ for the software update that wouldn't have worked in addition to the screen replacement when Apple did it for free. I would recommend going straight to Apple when you are having any issues with your Mac. Upon explaining this, I was refunded the $90 deposit so the owner is willing to work with you when you are...
Read moreI'm very impressed with the professionalism, and the responsiveness of this business. Feras was willing to go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I was satisfied with my gaming build. It actually took less time than he quoted for my build to be completed even with the strain that COVID-19 placed on any shipping businesses. I wanted a very high end gaming rig. He built a very high end rig for right around what he quoted, and he even emailed me when he could find a better deal than what I could find, or if something I wanted wasn't available. I would HIGHLY recommend Computer Troubleshooters for any of your computing needs.
Edit:Being the spoiled gamer I am, I ended up hearing about AMD's Ryzen 9 5950X processor and MSI's CORELIQUID 360R. I also upgraded my Thermaltake case up to an MSI Gungnir 111M which is a beautiful case. As with the original build Feras's professionalism, responsiveness, and business acumen shined through. He was even able to discuss technology in a way that my 83 year old father, who has very little technical skill at all, could understand. As per usual, Feras went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I was a satisfied customer, and a most...
Read moreI wish I could give this place another great review but google won’t let me. Let’s just say they fixed my broken computer screen for half the price Microsoft was going to charge me. They are honest people who will tell you what actually is wrong and will fix it fast and at the lowest cost possible! I will always use them and tell people to use them for their computer problems! If I could give them 10 out of 5 stars I would! So story is I took my computer to Best Buy because it wouldn’t charge and that’s where I bought it and they (Best Buy geek squad) told me it was because my battery was bad and it would cost the same to replace the battery and buying a new computer which would have been around $1,200. I dropped it off to Computer technology of Carmel since I saw all the good reviews and and within the hour they called me and said it wasn’t my battery and got my computer fixed and got me a brand new charge for only $100! Great and honest people! I will take all my computer problems to...
