Bierman Park — Attraction in Carol Stream

A beautiful park with a really nice paved walking trail around the lake. It was my first time here so I learned a couple of things to pass on to other newbies.

It's approximately 1.42 miles around the lake. The trail at one point will lead you away from the lake into a subdivision, don't panic, pick it back up right beside what I think is a school? (I didn't look that close), It will take you by the side of the building back to the lake. This is not a shaded walking path, so if you're walking a dog, do it early in the morning before it gets hot. Or like me, today it was overcast and cool at 7 am.

The shading problem is the only reason this park ended up with a 4 star...
