Back on 10/31 we order a pizza for pick up/carry out @ the Hanover Park location and were double charged. I contacted the store a few days later, the person I talked to said he would get the info to someone and get back to me. A few days went by and I called back, the person again said he gave info to boss and would have them handle/ contact me. Nothing again after a few days so I went into the store with print outs of the transactions to resolve. The person at the time seemed to be the person I spoke with previously , said not sure this hasnt been handled and took info and said will get it to the Wooddale location since it was location that could handle....still no call back. I then contacted the Wooddale location a week or so later, eventually got to someone named Tony, he advised he would handle, and let me know. Also at that time was told it was only $21 , and not to worry about it. That kind of got under my skin, yes it is only $21 , but it is my $21, and now too much of my time.
At this point I did let it go as i was busy with my own stuff and Thanksgiving time now, and so I just would check account for any credit. In December i had called a few more times got different people who said they would leave a message for Tony, but I have never recieved a call back from anyone at any time. Last week I called on Wednesday, got ahold of a person named Toby, who at least sounded concerned/aggraviated that this wasn't handled already, but said he neededd to have Tony handle this. He said he would leave a note for Tony to handle...still no call. Called back last night spoke with Toby again, he put me on phone with the manager on duty, she stated that Tony was busy with the Saturady rush, snd would get back to me later.
NO CONTACT HAS EVER BEEN MADE TO ME ON THE BEHALF OF WHITE...
Read moreExtremely poor customer service! We ordered a pizza and 24 wings for pickup. Arrived at pickup time and was told the pizza was burnt. I waited an additional 35 minutes for a new one. Katrina offered a ten dollar credit for our trouble. Finally, the pizza was ready! I got home and realized we did not get the wings we ordered. We called and Katrina apologized they were left in the warmer. I drove back to pick up 24 lemon pepper wings that sat in the warmer for over 90 minutes. Katrina offered to a credit for 24 wings. So now we have $10.00 credit and 24 wings. The Extremely poor customer service begins here. We called to redeem the promised credits for our already poor experience. The manager, Alley, refused to honor the 24 wings and told us Katrina had been fired for giving out too many credits for the mistakes they made. Katrina was not fired and works at the Woodale location. The entire experience led us to forgo the $10.00 only offer from Alley and never again patronize such a poorly run business. Reviews are meant to elevate businesses that work hard to offer quality, food and services at reasonable prices. This is NOT that business. Read moreWe love White Cottage Pizza. It was one of the first pizza places we tried (it was recommended) when we first moved to the Western Suburbs. We used to go there more frequently; they used to be a lot closer, but moved to Hanover Park a few years ago. But we are still in their delivery zone, so we tend to get delivery now when we have it. I can't comment on the atmosphere because e nave dine in there and most people don't from what I can tell. The staff is usually very friendly and we've had good experiences with their delivery drivers. We are fortunate to have many great pizza options within 10-15 minute radius, and White Cottage is in my top 3 for sure. Always get a consistent, well-made pie! I suggest getting their double-dough with extra cheese and ingredients of your choice - it is awesome! Their stadium size pizza is perfect for families or large groups.
