I love, love, love Dairy Queen! It has been my new favorite snack place as of late. The location closest to me has a couple advantages, plus a disadvantage. First, we've been ordering dilly bars by the sack full. I'm not sure what's gotten into me, but it's almost like a compulsion. It started about a month ago. I've noticed a few things about the 3 closest locations. If the dilly bars are wrapped in white paper wrappers, they're wonderful. They've got the swirl we've all come to know and love. You know the one I'm talking about! đŠAnyway, it doesn't matter if they're in the boxes or the brown bags- it's the white wrappers. Next, the ones that are not- they are wrapped in a clear see-through container, they are different. Have you noticed those ever? There's no swirl. The front and back sides both look the same. It's depressing really. You're looking for that sweet little swirl, but it's not there. đ„ You may think it's unnecessary, but this is why I buy a dilly bar and not just an ice cream bar from Jewel or another grocery store. You can taste the love they put in the swirl. Laugh if you want, but I spent a summer working at an ice cream stand when I was in high school. It was wonderful. I finally made the DQ standard with the swirl, and understood the meaning of putting love into the product. So it's important for them to do the same. You can't sell 2 types of Dilly Bars for the same price. Some of the bags even have less bars in them. I think some have 6 bars and some have 8-10. I know they're individually owned and operated, but it's going to make people decide which ones to buy their ice cream from in the future; at least if I can have anything to say about it!đ Enjoy your ice cream. It's a wonderful product, but think about what I've said. We still love DQ- just the ones that put love into their...
Read moreThis is not your friendly neighborhood DQ. 1st time we went staff didnât even know how to make a cone. Purchased big cone and got a flat lopsided blob.
Last week my kid wanted an ice cream cake since they saw a coupon in the mail. $3.00 off a cake it wasnât anyoneâs birthday so we wanted a small and the guy who is probably the owner tells my kid who presented them with cake and coupon that itâs not valid for small he had to buy the $36.00 cake. 3 dollars is $3.00 nobody does here anyways and that small cake we were going to buy will probably get thrown out anyways .
We prefer the Bartlett location but love closer to this one . Like how the fk do you say no to a kid over $3.00 when we didnât need a big $30 cake . This place needs to go and the smell is god awful in there strong mop water...
Read moreI went in to get an ice cream cone and there was this old man he had a bunch of hair on his arm which he probably needs to get waxed. It took so long for them to make an ice cream cone. He didn't wear any gloves he just put his hands inside this cup with water and proceeded to make my order. This is absolutely disgusting. I later on found hair inside my ice cream cone which probably came from his hairy arm. He really needs to wax or shave it. He was also being really ignorant and awful with service. I would not recommend this location and if you see the old man tell him he...
