When my fiance and I took lessons in preparation for our wedding dance, my goal was " a simple box step and maybe a turn." We had chosen a song and we wanted a waltz and we called Arthur Murray and Matt became our instructor. Matt was patient and stepped us not only through a box step and a turn but a full three minute waltz with multiple turns and changes over the course of 6 weeks. During our time with Arthur Murray, we interacted with Jake throughout our lessons and also Julie who were always positive and encouraging. Because our last two lessons were at odd times due to wedding commitments, Jake and Matt collaborated so that Jake knew our dance and instructed us for the last two. As he competes in dance, offered a couple refinements and helped us practice what to do if steps are missed. And they were! We missed two full boxes on our day but no one knew because we communicated throughout and it was seamless and beautiful. Matt and Jake literally made my Cinderella wedding dream come true. We will definitely return to Arthur Murray to take additional lessons for other dances. The instructors are fantastic and talented and we spent as much time smiling and laughing as we did dancing.
