Uncovering the Truth About This Restaurant
Introduction
When choosing a place to eat, we often rely on reviews to guide us. However, not all reviews are honest, and some may even be manipulated. In this piece, I want to share my experience with a particular restaurant where the owner and manager engage in deceitful practices to boost their ratings.
Manipulated Reviews
At first glance, the restaurant in question boasts numerous 5-star reviews. These glowing endorsements paint a picture of an exceptional dining experience. But what lies beneath this façade is a stark contrast to reality. I learned that many of these reviews are fake, manipulated by the owner and manager. They pressure customers into leaving positive feedback, which is not only unethical but also misleading for potential diners.
Unprofessional Behavior
During my visit, I encountered the owner, whose behavior was far from professional. He was rude and uneducated, showing a complete lack of respect for his customers. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, especially in the hospitality industry where customer service is paramount.
Disturbing Living Conditions
One of the employees confided in me about the owner's living conditions. According to the employee, the owner and his family live in a house infested with bed bugs and cockroaches. Hearing this was disturbing and raised serious concerns about the hygiene standards maintained by someone running a restaurant. This revelation made me lose my appetite, and I couldn't bring myself to touch the food I had ordered.
Quality of Food
As for the food, it was mediocre at best. All the curries tasted the same, with heavy cream masking any distinct flavors. There was no originality or effort to make the dishes stand out. It felt like the ingredients were chosen to cut costs rather than to provide a delightful culinary experience.
Unhygienic Practices
More alarming was the information I received about their handling of food. The restaurant uses leftover food from catering events, sometimes weeks old, for dining orders. This is a serious health hazard and goes against all acceptable food safety practices. Sauces and other preparations are not handled according to health laws, putting customers at risk of foodborne illnesses.
Health Risks
Eating at this restaurant is a gamble with your health. If you don't mind the possibility of getting sick, then this might be the place for you. However, I believe it is crucial for us to stand up against such practices. Dining out should be a pleasant experience, not one where you worry about hygiene and the quality of food.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the restaurant I visited is a prime example of what can go wrong in the food industry. Manipulated reviews, unprofessional behavior, poor hygiene, and subpar food are just some of the issues I encountered. It's time we demand better and hold such establishments accountable. Dining out should be enjoyable and safe, and we must speak out against practices that compromise our...

Walked into Swagath Indian Restaurant expecting a classy meal... walked out with a story, a lighter stomach, and a phone full of missed calls.
Food? We ordered boneless chicken biryani and a chicken appetizer. Appetizer was decent. The biryani? Quantity for one, flavor for none. No boiled egg, which is usually standard. Maybe inflation ate the egg before we could. We had to tack on a naan and a dosa afterward just to make up for the underwhelming main dish. You get the fine-dine portion and ambience, but not the fine-dine taste.
Ambience? Pretty. Comfortable. Looks promising until the food and service show up.
Now, the main course - The Checkout Experience: Finished the meal and walked up to the counter to pay--trying to save time. Their card machine? Broken. Phone pay? Nope. Cash? We didn't have any, and they didn't warn us about their antique POS system. The guy (seemed like a manager, possibly Rai Dharmender) told us to leave our number and said he'd call once it's fixed. Cool.
An hour later... boom. Multiple missed calls. We pick up--expecting a polite follow-up. Instead, we get a scolding.
"This is how it works. You didn't pay. Now pick up and pay over phone."
Excuse me? No apology for the inconvenience, no basic courtesy--just aggressive demands like we dined and dashed. Sir, this is not how it works. Your machines failed. Your tone failed harder.
You run a "fine-dining" restaurant--try acting like it. If your system fails, the least you can do is be polite while fixing the mess. Maybe warn guests up front: "Bring cash. Our technology lives in 2005."
Final rating: Food: 2.5/5 Ambience: 4/5 Service & Tone: 1/5 Overall: Wouldn't recommend unless you're in the mood for stress served with biryani.
Sorry, but this is not how fine-dining works. Fix your systems--or at least your attitude. Will not be going back again...
