Game On Escapes & More - Cary — Attraction in Cary

Sydney was the game master, and she was lovely. I did two escape rooms, the jungle room and the MacGregor room. Both games were really cool! The jungle themed room was easier and I really enjoyed the puzzle lay out. We had so much fun that we decided to try a more challenging room later that day. The MacGregor room was a scary themed room, and it did include quite a few impressive jump scares with locks unlocking quite dramatically.

Beforehand, a short video is played and there was a nice bathroom and water station. Everything was clean and tidy, and the theme was very present throughout the place. The video states that three hints are given and additional ones can be given at the cost of a penalty.... but sometimes we would get a minor hint such as "you completed this task already" or "look at the clock" which was really nice because it made sure we still had fun and there weren't penalties. I feel like they read our group well enough to know that we just wanted to have fun and solve the room, and we were fine with the gentle pushes. A truly 10/10 experience!

Came back again with another group of friends. This time Jasper was the game master, and they did amazing as well with giving us hints as soon as we asked and answering our questions. They were very personable. I love the atmosphere of this place and it was a really fun time. My group did the "Rest Easy Motel" room which was quite difficult! We had a great time playing “Trapped in a Jungle” at Game On Escapes! The theme was immersive and the puzzles really made us think. We were there with our grown kids and our 8-month-old grandson, who has accompanied us to a few escape rooms in the past. Unfortunately, we’ve sometimes received side eyes or even grief for having him with us—but not here. Naomi, our game master, actually celebrated his presence, which meant a lot to us.

Naomi was absolutely fantastic—warm, energetic, and incredibly engaging. She made the experience feel special from start to finish with thoughtful conversation before and after the game and just the right amount of support during. While there were a few parts of the game that didn’t flow quite as smoothly as we expected, Naomi more than made up for it with her energy and attentiveness.

The facility was clean, and everything was well-organized. Even with a couple of puzzle hiccups, we truly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely return to try another room. MacGregor Mansion is next on our list—and we’re crossing our fingers that Naomi will be our game...

We had so much fun and an awesome experience! My daughter and I wanted to do something together to spend sometime together to bond and enjoy time with each other. The escape room couldn’t have been a better option! This experience challenged each other individually but also got us to rely on each other, which made it such an incredible time! Hannah, was an amazing host and assisted us all the way through our experience! My daughter and I selected the MacGregor Manor room, which is suppose to be a difficult room to get out of, (it lived up to our expectations), but with Hannah’s assistance and our tenacity we were able to get out. The room was very creepy and interactive and it felt as if we were in a movie. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone that is looking to connect, re-connect, bond, or just want to share a wonderful experience with someone you are close to, or would like to get close to, to try this facility!
