I would definitely not recommend this store to anyone. Twice now I have given this store a chance and both times they have let me down. The store employee is about as useful as a cardboard cut out but I'll admit the only reason I didn't give this one star, was because he was able to find me at least some people to game with on the second week. Overall I met one nice person which was great but also one person only coming to this store to troll other people. Growing up in NJ I am all to familiar with people taking the fun out of the game and just trying to be a troll. I write this review as a warning that it is very rare getting to enjoy this store on weekends when they constantly have events and people coming just to troll with everyone else
However I also gave this more than one star because it is very friendly to kids on the weekend. If your a kid this place may be perfect for you on Saturday but for anyone else it's really bad.
I would like to even point out that the two people I met, the one nice guy and his troll friend, even they were 'not exactly positive' of this gaming store just to...
Read moreI love Gamer's Armory! They have lots of tables for gaming and concessions to get while you play. I've met lots of friends through here. My son and his High School gaming club descend on it weekly to play stuff. They have a great assortment of stuff in the "library" you can take a look at and have a huge variety. They've been slowly expanding their comics and graphic novel selection, and are happy to special order items for you. Their system also keeps track of the stuff you by and lets you rack up credit toward discounts on their already great prices. You don't have to keep track of a stupid punch card - just tell them your name (if they don't happen to know it). I think of Gamer's Armory as an important part of the local gaming community. Scott & Crystal have provided so many of us a place to make new friends...
Read moreMy wife has tried twice now to pre order cards here. She has been told both times that they do not do pre orders, but that they "order for some people that make purchases frequently." So they do preorders, but only for certain people. How she is supposed to make frequent purchases, when they will not even take 1 pre order, is beyond me. Sounds a lot like they DO do pre orders, but only if you are one of their friends. It's favoritism in action.
My wife explained that she would like to purchase multiple cases worth of cards, but it sounds like unless you are on their favorites list, you are out of luck. We buy our cards online, but wanted to support the LGS, so thought we would start buying here, but I guess not. Try a different store that does not segregate new customers from their...
