The staff here seems to be half great people who are nice and friendly and want to help out if they can, and half ....really out there. One of the easy tech guys likes to tell you all about how he knows more than you do about anything, in a condescending manner, especially things that would be completely obvious anyway. And will never stop talking. You literally have to walk away with no warning. He might even follow you. Leave the store.
The print center seems to have ONE employee that knows what he is doing. The print manager is lazy, rude, completely unprofessional, will take hours to be "done" with anything, and even then its completely wrong. He doesn't listen to what you want in the first place, and then he will charge you for the prints he messes up AND then $1/minute for fixing his mistakes. He could just listen to you the first time.
The one good employee in the print center always does amazing things. It blows my mind that he can do so great with such poor equipment to work with.
Sadly, with all the poor printing I have been receiving lately from the other employees, and unsatisfactory out of house printed business cards, I won't be returning. Not even for the one great guy in the print center.
As far as supplies go, I mean its brand name stuff and its about the same as everywhere else. Cashiers are nice. Chairs are comfy. I really only went here for the print center... Only reason this gets an extra star is that ONE guy that knows what...
Read moreOverall, I've always been a fan of this Staples. It's always clean, smells great, is organized, and has great stuff.
But the Copy Center has gone downhill lately. For well over 15 years I have been having large pieces of my artwork scanned as picture files so I can modify them in Photoshop for Web publication. The young gentlemanly person with the awesome nail polish that used to work that department was the nicest human being I have ever met and my scans always came out great! I recommended the Staples copy center to every artist friend I have in town, but lately things have gone dramatically downhill.
Pieces get scanned at a poor resolution, get cut off, get saved as the wrong file type, get scanned with washed out colors, and it's taking 3-4 trips back and forth, wasting $25 of gasoline, to get anything usable. It's like nobody working back there knows how to work the machines. I'd be happy to use the self service scanners and do it myself, but they only scan to PDF! I wish they'd let me come back and adjust the settings myself, but I understand why that isn't an option.
If one department can degrade so much within a couple of years, it makes me hesitant to keep going back. Do...
Read moreJinny was my sales associate. Very nice, helpful, professional and kind. I was purchasing about 3,000 worth of office supplies. I had asked for a discount of 5% at thecheck out lane for such a large purchase.
Jinny promptly asked her manager who flatly refused to do anything.
Then she looked me dead in the eyes and said, "does this look like a flea market to you." I literally dropped my jaw. She them stomped off to the back like an angry child.
Because of the the amazing customer service Jinny gave me I still purchased the large amount of items needed.
From one business owner to a manager who obviously doesn't care about customers...
Next time offer me a free soda for spending $3,000 at your business instead of insulting me at the door. I will never shop here again. I am still mortified.

A guy who is buying from your competitor...

How are your stock...
