Cerritos College is a wonderful and caring community college. I had no doubts about coming here. When I first arrived to the college campus I was pretty amazed to see how much the college cares about the students and their wellbeing. Their loyalty is so strong and their commitment to supporting the success of each student who attended this college is something special. I love being a student at Cerritos College and I do not have any harsh words to say because I don’t have any! My love for Cerritos College is really strong and special because every day I get to see how the college’s commitment to the students and the whole campus community grows stronger each day and year after year.
I do not understand why there are so many rude and disrespectful comments towards the college. Well guess what you’re wrong. These rude reviews do not make a difference towards anyone. Harsh criticism is not welcome!! In a Google review for Cerritos College. No do not do that! Very disrespectful. Very rude.
Cerritos College is an excellent choice for pursuing your career, educational dreams and aspirations. And to transfer to a University. Also the campus is so beautiful there are so many flowers and trees all around the campus. So if you love Cerritos College please consider rating 5 stars. And also a positive review. Once again harsh and disrespectful comments plus reviews are not welcome here!! Please be respectful to the college. They haven’t done anything wrong ever! Half of the reviews are positive and the other half are negative but there lies. Not true. Trust me I know. ——————————————————————— Only a person who likes to criticize and complain says negative things when it’s not true and they don’t care at all. The person who lies and lies. Is just someone who is not a...
Read moreI went here for several years. The quality of teachers is fantastic, I rarely had a concern for my grades or for their ability to teach me the material. However, I do not have the same compliments for some of the administrative and counseling staff. There are some Admissions staff that were helpful and kind, while others could not care less that there were endless issues within the system. As a returning student, I was shocked and upset over the lack of concern and subpar help I received after my application couldn’t be processed and I was unable to apply for classes in time. Don’t bother emailing Admissions, they will not reply to you - call and call and call. Highest praise to Rinda Kaing for actually trying to help me and expressing her care & concern for my application issue. The online portals are irritating, non-functional at times, and difficult to navigate. If i hadn’t had step-by-step help from a former student (my aunt), i would have been unable to understand how to apply for classes at all. There is no parking structure on campus, only enormous parking lots where it’s difficult to find a space in time for class. Be careful when selecting your Counselor / Academic advisor. I’ve met with some that have no concern for your path to a UC or Cal state and rather treat your scheduled sessions as a therapy appointment rather than a guiding meeting to solidify your future. However, I have also met with counselors that were extremely helpful and pointed in their efforts to help me. Overall, the help and support you receive here is very hit or miss. Shop around if and when you can. Would I go back here? I wish there was a closer college that I had the option to attend, because Cerritos gave me my associates degree and...
