So long KFC, Hello, Starbucks!
Occupying the former location of a KFC, Starbucks has opened up yet another location, just in case those caffeine addicts can't satisfy their caffeine bender soon enough.
On a flooring run to Home Depot, we noticed the new Starbucks where KFC once stood, and saw the balloons & heard the blaring music. Grand Opening? Let's check it out!
Visitors were welcomed with complimentary goodies, such as cookies.
For my afternoon boost, I went with a coconut milk latte. At home, I consume canned coconut milk with my coffee, as I try to eat a high amount of nutritious fat daily. Plus, coconut is delicious and has many health benefits. Having a coconut milk option is great for people like me, and my latte was a welcome treat. Often, I've found Starbucks coffee to have a burnt taste, but my coconut milk latte lacked that and was much better. Way to go, baristas!
Service was great! Being the Grand Opening, all hands were on deck, and drinks were made ASAP. Ample seating, included a large sized patio overlooking Studebaker. For those even more in a hurry, drive thru will help you speed on to wherever you're going.
Parking is in a private lot. Starbucks is located north of Home Depot.
Cheers! Starbucks is open & ready for business! The staff were uber friendly & efficient in whipping out those drinks. When I'm making another Home Depot run, I wouldn't hesitate swinging by and picking up a refresher or other drink.

Read moreI am not easily impressed at Starbucks. However, This morning, at 7:14 AM, we stopped by your Starbucks Coffee Store #50943 in Cerritos, CA. As I made my way up to the speaker, I was pleasantly surprised by the cheerful, welcoming, and professional voice that came across the speaker. After her welcome message ended she said her name Fantayshia, and asked for my order.
As I approached the window, I asked the server if she had taken my order and in a very professional manner she responded by no, sir, I did not."
While the window clerk/barista was getting my drinks, another young lady (I believe her name was Tiya" approached the window and offered us a sample of your promotional coffee. She stepped back and Valeria came forward and handed me my first drink. As she handed me the second drink, I squeezed the cup too hard and hot coffee spilled on the jacket that I was wearing. Valeria, sprung into action and asked "Are you ok, did you burn yourself?" I replied " no, it fell on my jacket and the side of my car" She reached over and handed me paper towels and offered a rag, just in case I needed it. Her quick action is very commendable. She knew what to do and the correct questions to ask to ensure my safety.
A huge "Thank you Fantayshia, Valeria, and Tiya" for a...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting the Starbucks in Cerritos, and I can't say enough positive things about my experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The friendly staff greeted me with a smile, making me feel right at home.
Now, let's talk about their Chai Tea. It's a true masterpiece. The balance of spices and creaminess is simply perfect. Whether hot or iced, it's a comforting and flavorful beverage that I can't resist ordering again and again. It's a delightful escape from the everyday.
And then there's the Turkey Pesto Sandwich. Oh my goodness, it's a taste sensation! The tender turkey combined with the savory pesto and fresh veggies creates a delightful symphony of flavors. It's a satisfying and wholesome option that pairs wonderfully with their drinks.
What truly sets this Starbucks apart, though, is the exceptional customer service. The baristas take the time to get to know their customers and make each visit special. It's clear that they take pride in their work, and it shines through in every cup and bite.
