Last Sunday,i arrived at Q hair on time at 10am as the appointment i made with HUGH,as soon as i walked into the studio,i gave a very warm greeting to HUGH by saying good morning,he looked at me with a unhappy face saying nothing,i heard from the owner saying back ''Good morning'' though,so i went to sit in his chair,he came asking what i was coming for,i told him i wanted to have my hair cut,immediately,he asked"that is it?you donot want color or anything'i said 'no,besides,i donot have time today'' after heard that,his face getting unhappier ,he asked me to go to the washing are to get ready to have my hair washed,i did,i was sitting there for 3-4 minutes,he was still doing something eles,i had to tell him,i need leave by 10;50am,he told me hair cut need at least 1 hour, i told him i can skip hair washing,and ,i donot have to do the stylish after the cut,that way,40-50 minutes is enough.
So i went back to sit at his chair again since i am going to skip my hair washing to save time,i comb my hair myself to get it ready for him to do the cutting,he finally came to me,asking,do you want straight or curly hair after the cut,i asked'do you mean the one time stylish?'he said yes,and i was confusing,i told him i do not need stylish to save time,well,probably he is confident with the time even he is going to do the stylish for me,it took me 10 seconds to have this thought,he got very impatient and open his mouth rudely;''come on,you want to leave at 10.50,but you cant even answer my question,'''alright curly'' i said.I do not understand what he was stress or complaining about,i told him i do not need stylish if the time is too tight,anyway,i did not say anything but just quiet sitting there waiting him to get ready.
Ok,technically,it only take 10 minutes for him to get my hair-cut done,it was 10:17am when it finished,he hold a mirror above my head on the back to show me how my hair look,i actually did not like the way he cut my hair,before he started to cut my hair,i told him,i want my hair look more volume and a few layers,he cut my front hair too short,and leave very middle center part of hair very long which is very dramatically layers which is not really i am looking for,so i was trying to ask him if he cut some of my very front hair,he got very mad and started to yelling at me.
THAT IS,I asked him to stop doing what he is doing,i want to leave,i am not deserve the way his was treating me.
HUGH,I know you are not happy because i was just doing hair cut which is mean not a lot money you can make,but that is your job,you are not get upset because low profit job,i spent $200-300 for the last time visit,i did color ,hair cut and i purchased shampoo and conditioner from you.YOU ARE NOT EXPECTING CUSTOMERS SPENT A LOT OF MONEY EVERY TIME.WHY DO NOT GO TO ROB THE BANK? YOU NEED KNOW HOW TO RESPECT...

It was my first time getting color done in my hair on a hair salon since I have always been terrified of hair stylist and never been back to one since I was 12 y/o. The owner let one of the girls that work with her do my hair but halfway through my bleach I realize she is getting instructions on how to do it in Vietnamese. To top it off, she left me with bleach for more than an hour and then applied a second layer to my roots without washing the first one off. She did not check if my ends were being damaged at all. I thought she knew what she was doing and did not question it until after she started applying what was supposed to be an lilac tint to do the ombre style I asked. They washed it off and started combing through my hair and I noticed they hair was falling in chunks. I tough, well it is bleached so it must be normal to have falling hair and hoped it would look better if styled so I asked her if she could do it. She then tried straightening and making my hair wavy but burnt it to the point that my hair was turning yellow where she was passing the curling iron. Needless to say, they panicked and tried to apply color to the burnt sections but used a totally different tone that looked like purple and left me with blotches on my hair. I left with no styling done and my hair wet again from the second wash and had to pay because I was just so frustrated I wanted to go get some products to help me with this mess before it as too late at the Ulta store. Do not go to color your hair at this place! They are nice people but clearly knew they messed up and did not apologize. I paid and the girl that did my hair was nowhere to be found as if hiding from messing up. I ended up fixing it myself and therefore, never going back to a hair salon again. Read moreThis is the first review I've ever written, but I had to warn everyone about Q Hair Studio. First, the place was filthy when I visited, with layers of hair and visible dust on the floor, as well as torn towels and gowns that I did not want to be touched with. My hair stylist was Quyen, who gave me bad vibes from the first meeting. I showed her pictures that I had brought of what my hair wanted to look like, but she blatantly ignored me and showed me pictures from a magazine instead. She also spoke around my mother, who had also come for a cut and a perm, because she speaks with an accent. She was very rude and disrespectful, and my mother and I were both incredibly offended. I asked for a cut and a perm, and the cut was over within 5 minutes. It was an insane hack job. The layers are choppy and uneven, and nothing close to what I asked for. The perm is so bad its to the point of embarrassing, it looks like a poodle's fur. My mother's hair was equally terrible. When I pointed out that my hair nor my mom's was nowhere close to what we had asked for, all Quyen said was "No refunds" and basically hustled us to the front counter to make us pay. We both had to go to a different salon the next day because our hair was so awful, it was humiliating to keep it for a minute longer. Do not go to this salon if you value yourself or your hair. Avoid Quyen and Q Hair Studio...
