My son and I went to the water park. It's definitely a fun atmosphere. You have to go in early as soon as they open in order to get a shaded spot. They have young children friendly attractions. The pool doesn't go much deeper than 6ft. And this is over by the area where lap swimming is. Otherwise it's 5ft. The pool starts off with a beach like entry without the sand. Then there's the lazy river, could be longer, but it's still fun. There's also two slides that land into a small pool. It was interesting that they asked everyone to get out of the pool for a practice drill for their lift guards. Not sure if they do this everyday, or if it was just that visit. It was my son's and I first visit. It does get crowded the later in the day. To the point where you can only stand in the pool. Parking is very limited, though.

I couldn’t ask for a better park, especially with the addition of Prairie Farm, which is a fantastic feature. I’ll likely write a separate review focused on the Farm. There’s also a water park, which seemed to be very popular and full of people having fun. The only reason for 4 stars is that it didn’t seem too friendly with directions, as in you had to go all the way around the block in order to access any of these venues as well as the baseball field.

Loved the water park! The lifeguards were very helpful and courteous. The water seemed clean and comfortable, especially for cooking off. Thanks, Y'all! I didn't know there were farm animals! I'm looking forward to returning to see more of what Centennial Park had to offer. There'll be more pictures next time.

If I could give less than a 0, I would. Rented the pavilion for a child's birthday party. Kept having random people popping up and just making themselves comfortable within the pavilion that was paid for through the Champaign Park district. Had to argue 3 times for people to leave the pavilion due to the party. Finally, I had to call the police to escort a very aggressive group out. 1 person in this group even hinted that he had a gun and had no intention to fight when asked to leave. Long story short, I will NEVER rent the pavilion at Centennial...
