The food & coffee are always great. The service, however, is terrible. I do rapid pick up since it’s the quickest option for my lunch break. The past few times I’ve ordered my order has been messed up. I get mistakes happen so when I called the manager, I just told him what had happened and asked if I should specify what I want on the “special instructions” portion so nothing is forgotten. He told me to do exactly that so there were no mistakes. (I ask for no mayo each time since I’m allergic and this was the mistake that was made) I go in today after putting what I wanted in the special instructions portion. No mayo, no avocado was the only difference I made to the sandwich, which is the blt turkey and avacado sandwich. I get to my job to continue my lunch break and they had put onions on it with no tomato. There isn’t even onions on the sandwich to begin with. I worked in food service as a waitress for many years and know mistakes happen and customers can be terrible, but this just seemed like something done on purpose. I was told by the manager to put special instructions and then got treated like this because of it. A meal is not cheap there but I pay it every time because the food is great. Read moreI have gone to various locations around Champaign during finals week, sat for hours, purchased food, and had a very pleasant experience. Today I came to this location to mix it up and am leaving completely irritated. I have been here for two hours, spent $15 on food items, and still have my food on the table, headphones in studying, when a woman comes over to ask me if I am still eating and if not, to leave. She repeatedly says "I am the manager, are you still eating?" and I reply to let her know that I just finished my lunch a little bit ago (that she handed to me!) and am still working on my drink and bakery item. She proceeds to tell me how it is busy and she is needing tables for new customers, so if I am not eating right now I need to leave. She was incredibly rude and needs to figure out how to interact with customers who gave them business. I am sitting here looking at 3 empty tables (just in my current line of sight) so I am not too sure why she was so set on asking me to leave. Read moreI used to LOVE this location. I'm not sure what changed with staff/management but that service has declined. I have been here 3 times over the past few months and the service was disappointing. The first time I was given a moldy parfait. I drove back to the store to return the parfait and could hear the staff in the back describing how disgusting the parfait was but was given little recognition or apology for the inconvenience. The second time I received the incorrect order but didn't notice until I had already gotten to work. Today, the woman at the cashier was very confusing on whether that had decaf ice coffee so I made a purchase for one, only to go to the coffee station and realize that they don't sell decaf ice coffee. I politely returned my coffee cup because of the confusion and the cashier was completely rude...walked away without a response and then when she returned she handed me $3 and walked away without any apology for the confusion of stating that they had decaf ice coffee.
