Ace Nails & Spa- Mani/Pedi Spa: Only salon in AZ using a ONE-JET DISPOSABLE SYSTEM! — Attraction in Chandler

I want to start off by saying that the customer service here is outstanding. However, I want to give an accurate description of my time here. I went in for a gel-x appointment. On the website, the listed price for this service is $65. I got neutral nails and was quoted $80 at the end of the appointment with no explanation as to why. The gel used to attach the nails is strong, however, it was not applied evenly, and there is glue buildup under my nails that I had to try and file at home. Hairs and dust also stuck to the glue. I had a few nails that were overfilled and not even, with some polish building up in small little piles near the cuticles. There was additionally no cuticle care. One nail had a hair stuck in the gel polish; another had a small black dot. From far away, the nails look great, and the color is stunning, but I am concerned that I was overcharged for a service that wasn't 100%...

My first time here, it was with Mai and she was amazing. 10/5!!! My feet never felt better. My skins were smooth for weeks.

The second time, not so much. Starting with the nail appointment, the day who picked up the phone was not warm. She just said “Ace nail” and then complete silence….No warm greeting or ask how can she help. Anyhow, I reluctantly schedule an appointment because of such a good impression last time. The tech who worked on me was not only inexperienced. Even though I paid for the diamond package, there was no callus removal. She didn’t know which order the products need to be used and the tech next to her had to help. She didn’t clean my feet properly. There were still products stuck to nails and between my toes. The massage was bad and I had to ask her for more pressure. I’m not sure if it’s her or lack of training.

This is the BEST nail salon I have ever been to!!! I was looking for a new nail salon to go to and the thing that really intrigued me was the fully disposable One-Jet system that they have. That makes me feel so better about getting pedicures! The owners and the staff are absolutely amazing!! They make you feel so welcome and they give you complimentary mimosas, drinks, and snacks. I’ve never been treated so good at a nail salon before!! I always get my nails done by Destiny now. She does a fantastic job and really pays attention to detail!
