I visited the restaurant on 10/29/2020 at 5.10 pm for dinner. This is COVID 19 era. This restaurant is situated in a mall and set up as a fast food set-up. You pay upfront and get your food. Ambience - When I entered, I did not get a good vibe. The restaurant had definitely seen better days. The taped up seats should have good reasons to leave, but i decided to give it a try. Customer Service - The man taking my order was not having a good day. It set the tone for my experience. Utensils - Paper plates and Styrofoam cups for dine in. Food - There was a good selection of food. I ordered Onion Rave Masala Dosa ($9.50) and the Grill Thali (#13.99). Came to about $25++. Taste - The Grill Thali came with instant Idly, and instant Vada, and masala dosa. The masala dosa was hot but the two chutneys were ice cold, with the sambar watery. I asked if the chutney can be heated up and was told No. The Onion Rave Masala Dosa also came with ice cold chutneys. I was eating a hot dosa by dipping into a cold chutney!!!!I finished my meal and the tea had not arrived. I just wanted to leave, asked for a cup cover to leave, and was told that they do not have a cup cover ( I wonder how take away orders are fulfilled). Experience - I do not recommend this restaurant. I did not get value for money and bad customer service with Indian food that is made from instant freezer food. I would be happy paying $25 to eat at Olive Garden.

...sandhya and prashant have been serving south indian food for awhile now...they are frequently overwhelmed because of lack of help... ...beware that they do not itemize orders on receipts, so one does not know what was ordered and what the cost was... ...also, they only accept visa & mastercard...no amex & no discover, etc...and cannot pay on credit cards for orders less than $10 !!... ...tables & decor are old and ill-kept...they put out plastic 'silverware...'water jugs are handled by customers & not by staff... ...food is acceptable...dosas, utthapams, idlis, bondas, vadas...accompanying sambar, chutneys are tasty and spicy...rice dishes, like bisi bela bath, are also decent...we have also enjoyed upma and pongal...plus south indian coffee... ...south indian desserts are limited in variety, if you like sweet things, that is... ...chole-bhature (garbanzo beans with fried bread) or puri-aloo (potato curry with bread like sopapilla) are also tasty... ...they need a frequent eater program and discounts, to retain existing customers, or attract new ones... ...overall, a modest enterprise with no attempts to invite or retain customers...

Worst experience ever in a name that has authentic to it. They seriously need to consider to learn to serve better food Ordered chilli parotta said fluffy and all spices Kawan parotta heated and mixed with chilli sauce and some corns and green peppers. Pls don’t give food that is not authentic and this is not chilli parotta and we make better at home Come for experience and complete disaster I don’t have a way to zero star otherwise would have put no star Complete food went to garbage couldn’t finish as I am guy love to eat and finish all the time

Not worth trying simply because of their service. The bald Uncle is extremely rude.

Edit after the owner's reply : How did you know that we are the same family that reached at 2:28pm . That means you know you were rude to us . Now a rundown to what led to this - Before coming to the restaurant we called them at 2:25pm to know if we can still dine if we reach in 2 minutes . They put a condition that we need to order only once to which we agreed and reached at 2:28pm . First of all , you are not doing a charity and could have simply said No when we called . Now , when we were placing the order , husband asked if we can have chhole bhature , the bald Uncle threw attitude , made a pissed off face and said "bhature shature nahi Hain" . Imagine talking about your own menu, the food you serve to your customer in this manner . At that point I wanted to move out but husband realised that I was hungry and we settled for Dosa which was fine for the price . Anyone who wants to eat here might like the food on a good day , but just pray that the bald Uncle who probably is the same person replying to every critical review in a rude manner is not in a bad mood . Because he can really put a huge dent to your experience of dining in here . All the best and learn to be a little humble . You earn respect , don't expect me to respect you when you don't respect my family and...
