5/5 Stars - Our Go-To Spot for Authentic Chinese Cuisine!
Schezwan Garden has become a beloved favorite for my family, and we keep coming back for their incredible food and authentic flavors. Whether it’s lunch or dinner. The Jalapeño Chicken is an absolute standout, perfectly spiced, tender, and packed with flavor. It’s a dish we crave and order every single time! Another must-try is the Water Boil Fish, which is as authentic as it gets. The delicate balance of spices and the freshness of the fish make it a true delight.
For our vegan family members, the Stir-Fried Green Beans and Shredded Potato dishes are phenomenal.
What we love most about Schezwan Garden is their commitment to authentic Chinese cuisine. Unlike many places that Americanize their dishes, Schezwan Garden stays true to traditional flavors.
The service is always friendly and efficient, If you’re looking for authentic Chinese food that’s full of flavor, Schezwan Garden is the...
Read moreHorrible experience! First, we weren't greeted, an older hostess approached us and said "We have no rice!" The guy at the cash register explained because Memorial Day holiday, they didn't make a lot...(okay, no problem we completely understand). Then he says "...but we have noodles." The hostess, obviously very annoyed and angry, then says " go to table!" and points to a table in the back. Okay, maybe she's having a bad day. She brings our menus and throws them down on the table. Then she brings plates and silverware roughly drops them in front of each of us. She doesn't come back. The cashier guy, comes over to take our drink order, we tell him, we're ready to order as well. It was then that he explains the restaurant will not substitute noodles. With that clarified, we decide to leave. This was our first time here, never again. What a shame!!! We head to our go-to spot, Chopstix Express on Guadalupe Rd & Rural Rd, yummmm good food...
Read moreFrom out of town and love szechuan food.
The good: the people where very nice and friendly. The place was clean. The portions are large.
The bad: I ordered the szechuan fish in chilly hot pot. It was not szechwan. It was your basic chinese food with chilly. The szechuan fish dish tasted like the sesame chicken dish but with fish. Like everything was cooked with the same thing just made to look different. The dan dan noodles were made with lo mein noodles and beef with chilly. Everything tasted the same with no real distinction between them. And no, I haven't lost my taste and am COVID negative. I get tested every 2 weeks for work. I expected a good szechuan meal from seeing the price (yes it's expensive) because I know the ingredients for szechuan is not cheap.
Conclusion: if you simply want slightly expensive Chinese food and fill your stomach, this is a good place. However, do not expect szechuan food. Expect...
