Dulce Churro Cafe — Restaurant in Chandler

Churros were excellent. Staff was horrible. We walked in and stood there for several minutes while one of the staff was making an ice cream churro dish, and the other was talking on her cell phone. Then someone walked in with a case of soda, and the cell phone girl went to the back and had a lengthy conversation. The girl making the ice cream dish was making it as slow as molasses....... Neither of them acknowledged us when we walked in. We stood there looking directly at them both....nothing. After a few more minutes the girl in back finally came up front and did something at the register and returned to the back.....still not even a "hello" or "be right with you" The girl making the ice cream dish finally finished and served it to the customer sitting at the table. She then looked to the girl in the back like a deer in the headlights.....the girl in the back finally finished talking to whomever delivered the soda, then came to the front and took our order. We waited while the churros cooked. We saw our order placed up. We waited a couple more minutes while the cell phone girl walked past our order a couple times......I'm a patient person, I could understand if the place was packed...but we were the only ones waiting to be waited on.....staff needs to be trained in customer service/acknowledgement. Staff was slow I was the only person there it took 25 min for 1 bowl and 1 churro the amount of frosting was crazy like way to much she did heavy off on the churro then the bottom of my container was full of frosting n the churro was thin the width of my finger. The bowl churro was so thin and so over cooked it was crunchy like a potatoe chip in so thin it was think like a hard taco shell. Customer service the guy dropped the container on the counter a couple inches away from from the register that it shook everything on the counters a made the cashier jolt. The cashier rolled her eyes 2x at me when I was confused. I apologized for my confusion bc she seemed annoyed I let her know it was my first time there. There service is horrible the food was bad over cooked ect the ac was out so it was hot n very humid . They had a swamp cooler but that one was for a space of a small bedroom not a small food place. I feel bad the staff had to work in there it was gross feeling. The board is hard to read very small letters and far behind the counter ie why I had to ask question. As a company you should do better for your staff and clients. Your staff should not be work with no ac and only a swamp cooler made to cool down a very small bedroom. It was 110 out side today how about you owners go work in that all day while...

Was a great place to come but got told we can't have churros because the oil is to LOW.... it's a bit weird to come in and get told the oil is to low and you can't make them at peak hour... your reply is very rude because we only wanted one churro bowl and I wanted a loop and someone in front of me wanted a loop and we were both told we couldn't get then made because the oil is too low! They told us they would only make El grande and thats all they'll be making, then went to the back to sit on their phones and laugh about not doing their jobs properly,your workers could say itll take awhile to heat the oil but you dont have any customer service.. SMH you're very rude busy day means keep your oil stocked and ready to go thats how business works.... please don't again tell someone what they wanted when you don't actually know and you werent actually there to see or hear what was ordered. No adult was around to help the situation just 3 young boys.. on top of that your company makes CHURROS how could your oil ever get low it's the only thing we can order unless we want ice cream but we don't come for that!! Will not be back here, you just showed how you're not professional about...
