Three Rivers Public Library District — Attraction in Channahon

I needed to get something notarized for the county. I heard that the library offers that service, for free. I went there on Monday 2-10-25, spoke with I believe Heather at the front desk. She said that would have to schedule it. I couldn’t make it till Wednesday. On Tuesday Wendy called and we set it up for Wednesday morning. On Wednesday, in just a few minutes everything was completed. Both of these ladies couldn’t have been nicer, also was warmly greeted by another employee on arrival this morning. Our library’s, schools, Channahon twp, etc. Have some wonderful people working for them (and serving us). I’m more than happy to pay our property taxes for these fine units...

Thank God for Benjamin Franklin! Without libraries, those of us on fixed incomes wouldn't be able to quench our thirst for knowledge. Our libraries (Minooka and Channahon) are part of the 3 Rivers Library system and can get just about anything in media in a very short period of time. If you haven't visited these libraries in a while, make sure to check them out. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and there are SO many things besides books that they offer. BEYOND thankful for this library! Great staff and selection! I was able to order my book online and have it ready for pickup, at my convenience.
