Subway — Restaurant in Channahon

Oct 2022. Not recommended. While it appeared clean, it should have, as it was empty at dinner time, big sign of things going wrong. Not at all friendly, welcoming or grateful for business. This location does not honor most Subway coupons & limits which few sandwiches that those couple of accepted coupons can be used for (photo proof attached). This location is not even using all Subway meats (photo proof attached of paper thin store bought deli slices literally still in the shape of the tubs they likely came in & were dumped from, plus I actually worked for Subway, so I know). Also such extremely skimpy amounts of that non Subway meat & cheese + tiniest sprinkles of all other veggies placed on sandwiches. None were remotely close to what we receive when we go to other locations. Even the foot longs were hardly filling for my children and barely worth the coupon amount paid. Never would these have been worth full price nor substantial for an adult appetite. Not the first time we’ve had sub par service and food here, but we are limited in this small town & thought we’d try again. Not going to give them or continued business. After a couple visits, I asked the sandwich artist how many slices of ham go on a ham and cheese footlong. The reason I asked was because the sandwiches felt a little thin compared to some of the other locations I have visited in the past. So I Google the answer, because that's what we do when we need to know ( and the person we're asking is not giving me any type of answer) Google says 12 slices total, two rows of six makes up twelve slices. What do I know, I'm not a sandwich artist. I noticed they put on 10 slices instead of 12.. When I asked about 10 vs 12 slices the workers began to argue in a language that I did not recognize. Very rude establishment. Especially if they fund out you're using a coupon. They put hardly any toppings on their subs. They speak in another language & point & mimic people. My footlong sub had 6 jalapeño slices. I asked for more 2x because each time she'd only add 2 slices. Looked at my receipt (that the worker refused to provide at first i had to grab it off counter myself) & she charged me $3 for double meat..that I hadn't asked for nor received. She said "you pay for jalapeños some way" the fact that they have no button for added charge of "extra veggies" is telling me that they shouldn't be charging for "extra veggies" my $3 extra fee landed me 10 jalapeño slices for my footlong. Mind you I purchased 2 other subs PLAIN! It's not like I was asking for an ungodly amount of "extra peppers" I'll drive out of my way to Minooka before patronizing this Subway again.
