Great place for local, fresh veggies, fruits, herbs, flowers, pastries and breads. Need a gift? Check out the local potters and artists that set up. There are chocolates and honey as well. Parking isn’t the easiest with the demolition of the University Mall, but it’s worth the time to park. You can spend about an hour there- including wait times for top vendors. There are activities and usually live music to entertain the young and mature folks.

A wonderful and expanding variety of the best the season has to offer, vegetables, fish, frozen meat, some of the best goat cheese I have had and bread -- great source for seasonal ingredients.

Very good! I went for green vegetables and found exactly what I wanted! Sugar snap peas and Romanesco broccoli.

I called several times left several messages because I was never able to get an answer from the phone number that you call to get information. I was coming to vend and drove over an hour to be told that I would not be allowed to set up. as a vendor I strongly discourage anyone from attempting to come to this Market. They apparently want to make sure that all of these people selling out of town produce make money. I would also like to point out the statement that I just made is absolutely one hundred percent accurate there are no local farms here it is all stuff being brought in. You might as well go to a flea market and buy the same...

Top notch vendors and extremely friendly and knowledgeable farmers. Haw River Mushrooms, their product, and their staff's knowledge, have revolutionized my cooking. There's also great seafood, multiple farms with choice fruits and veggies, a vendor specializing in garlic varieties (also great for creating cooking), and even sensational brews (coffee and beer)! Awesome treat for all the senses on Saturday morning to begin...
