YogaSix Chapel Hill serves up a toasty 105°F practice that'll have you questioning your life choices in triangle pose, but in the best way possible. While they've skipped the fancy infrared panels in favor of good old-fashioned heated air, the consistent temp keeps you cooking evenly like a well-basted bagel. The space screams "we've got our act together" with its pristine studio vibes and enough props to outfit a small circus. Drop-in warriors can snag a mat for a mere $3, or commit to a month of unlimited mat love for $15, a steal for those of us who regularly forget our yoga companions at home or don't want to really commit just yet.
The instruction hits that sweet spot between "you've got this" and "maybe reconsider that fourth chaturanga," though your mileage may vary depending on which teacher is leading the sweaty parade. Today's class featured a savasana so quiet you could hear your neighbors contemplating their dinner plans, though word on the street is that the meditation finale can be a mixed bag. The modern space may lean heavily on artificial lighting, but hey, you'll be too busy mastering your extended side angle to notice the lack of vitamin D.
For the price point, you're getting a polished hot yoga experience that doesn't take itself too seriously... peep the "I cry a lot but I am so productive" t-shirts in the retail section. Just remember to bring your water bottle and a towel, unless you fancy leaving a human-shaped sweat angel on your mat. Perfect for both the "I do this for the hot yoga glow" crowd and the "I'm here for the serious...

April went by, and I didnât notice that a payment occurred, which was my bad.
I called BEFORE the May payment posted to my account to cancel, but they said they couldnât reverse it, that they would contact the manager to get back to me the next day. I called the next day after no follow up, and got the same response from another girl. Surprise, a manager never contacted me and the additional $126 left my account.
They donât have a way for you to cancel within the app. I had to call MULTIPLE TIMES to even get them to cancel the plan, and I never got my money back. Iâve never seen a yoga studio be so unflexible and cold. I would not recommend signing up for a...
Read moreâď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸ YOGA6 is absolutely amazing! I can't say enough good things about this studio. The teachers are all incredibleâknowledgeable, encouraging, and each one brings their own unique energy to class. The studio itself is spotless and always feels fresh and welcoming.
One of my favorite touches is the cold, scented towels they give you at the end of classâsuch a refreshing and thoughtful treat! Plus, they provide sweat towels, which is a huge bonus and just shows how much they care about the experience.
I especially LOVE the music-themed classesâit's such a fun way to stay motivated, and the playlists are always on point. Whether you're new to yoga or have been practicing for years, this place has something for everyone. YOGA6, you...
