Usually a good amount of dogs. Mostly large breeds. Usually we'll behaved regulars. Only downside is the gnats are sometimes bad and it's sometimes muddy. But it's a solid choice, especially before 5pm.

Dog park, skate park and open fields for kicking a ball around. Spring, summer, and fall there's a farmers market. Only thing that could make it better is lighting for after dark.

The Wednesday community Farmers Market is a very nice evening activity -- music, fresh fruits/vegetables, breads, pickles, crafts, etc.

The park is mostly dirt. It's easy to find and there is lots of space and water fountains, but in our experience there is always someone there who doesn't care to intervene when their dog is aggressive towards others or maybe doesn't really know what aggressive behavior is. I think this is the last time we will be coming here. Just fyi, please supervise your pups when taking them to parks. It's not everyone elses responsibility to stop your dog from attacking theirs. Maybe there should be someone at this park specifically for monitoring dogs since owners apparently...

Love coming here for the West Ashley Farmer's Market. Word to the wise, there are two different places to park, one lot has an entrance you could easily miss off of Sycamore and the other located adjacent to the old Ryan's and Food Lion buildings. During the Farmer's Market both lots get full but it's significantly easier to park and access the lot near Ryan's over the Sycamore lot. The Sycamore lot is narrow with lots of trees and difficult to turn around in with high traffic. Just a...

Really nice, clean and large park. Lots of activities seem to go on there at a regular basis (there was a dog obedience and some sort of exercise class in process). We went to play Frisbee golf which there is a nice well maintained 18 hole course in the outer "ring" of the park. A very nice addition to...
