if you follow me any, you know I travel alot and look for places like this that tourists may not find. So, Triangle Char & Bar! Let's see....this place is really hopping. For a Sunday afternoon, it was about half full and the weather was perfect! Outside seating is nice for beautiful days like this one and they had the roll up windows open fully so the people inside could enjoy the wonderful breeze! The bar is very nice and clean and the bartender is pretty cool too. Seats were nice. No rips that I could see in the fabric or chairs. People were really enjoying the day here. I sat inside and ordered a sour(my favorite type) and it was cold and very refreshing for a spring day! Food.....I ordered of the snack section for this one and I wasn't disappointed at all! The Mac and cheese pops were amazing! Fried to perfection with pulled pork inside and a phenomenal dipping sauce to go with. Totally recommend! I also ordered the 5 dry rub wings and ranch. Some places have dry rub wings and fry the moisture out of them, but these were very juicy and tasty as well. I got a side of fries to go with and they were good as well. The wings and Mac and cheese pop's I'd definitely do again. I can't give them 5 stars cause I didn't see their restrooms, so 4 is what they get. My waitress Bailey was very attentive and made sure I had plenty to drink and if I needed anything at all. I was never rushed to eat and leave like you can get at some places. It was a very cool place to visit and eat and I'll be back very soon! Nice job Triangle Char and Bar!

Stopped in for Brunch a few Sundays ago. Food was solid. Got the Chicken or the Egg and That’s a Croque, which are both pictured. If you get the Chicken or the Egg, I would suggest getting a small side of gravy because the Fried Chicken Breast tended to be a little dry for both of the orders in the group. Biscuit was delicious. The ‘That’s a Croque’ sandwich was excellent. It would be good without the sunny egg on top, but getting the sunny egg brings the sandwich to another level. Would 100% order again. Grits had to be doctored up, I would suggest the Home Fries instead as they were surprisingly delicious. So many other dishes on the menu that are worth a try on a future visit. Atmosphere was great! Our Bartender Bridget made our morning and kept us entertained the whole time. Excellent Bartender, highly recommend sitting at the bar with her if you can. And can’t beat the $1.75 Natty Cans all day, every day.

This place gets by on cheap mimosas, a charming building and nothing else. Please only hit the bar here. I have been dragged her several times by “brunch girls” looking for a “safe” menu and I’m tired of pretending to enjoy it. Each time the food takes 40 minutes to hit the table and arrives cold. Not heat lamp warm, actually kind of cold. You can see the cheese isn’t even melting in the picture. On my most recent trip they subbed frozen tater tots instead of house potatoes, at noon on a Sunday. How do you run out of potatoes in the middle of your best sales day? $16 for this plate. Fast food tier. Oversat waiter checks in about every 15 minutes. Two hours and $75 bucks later with tax and tip for two ppl and you’ll wish you ate at home. Ironically, you can walk out and point in any direction and find a better restaurant in Avondale because it’s right in the middle.

Quaint little local eatery with excellent food and modern southern charm to match. This spot has a very unique decor that's very southern. It's laid back and casual for sure. Most of the people in the restaurant had on flip-flops and shorts. The place is clean with wood tables and the windows are garage doors that were all opened up the morning we went. That open feel is fine while you're waiting for your food but the flies come soon after your plates hit the table, so you're swatting your food constantly while you eat, which gets a little annoying while your trying to enjoy good food. Especially true when you have kids and you have to swat their food too.

The staff was friendly and helpful with the menu for first timers. The service was good not great. I did wait on water refill and finally had to ask to get my cup refilled. Our food did take a long time to come out after we ordered it. The place was fully packed but it just seemed like we waited 30 mins for our food which was too long for the things we ordered. I think if your food takes longer than 20 mins than somethings wrong with the efficiency of the kitchen.

I ordered the French toast that was stuffed with a Grand Marnier Creme cheese. It was excellent. It was almost like a dessert. It really didn't need any syrup but I added some anyway. My dish came with some homemade sausage. It had good flavor but was a little dryer than I'd expected. I also had the cheese grits which had really good flavor. We also shared their chicken & spinach folded egg (omlet). it was fine but nothing special. I've had better omlets before. We also ordered one of the snacks on the menu called the low-country egg-rolls with pulled port, collard greens & mustard bbq sauce. It was good with the mustard-based dipping sauce being tangy & spicy. Someone at the table suggested it should be served with a sweet & tangy/spice sauce instead.

My kids had pancakes with homemade sausage patties and bacon. They seemed to like every thing they ate so I'd say that gets a kids thumbs up.

Over all I'd give the dinning experience an 8/10. I have only minor cons that would be the decor of having garage doors for windows that were all open that invited flies in the restaurant while you're eating. Also our wait for our food after we ordered was too long. Other than that, I'd say go and...

Well what a place! Upon walking in I automatically realize that bartender was agitated. It was 2 hours and 15 minutes before closing, but 15 minutes before the Kitchen closed. As I sat there and she glared at my friend in myself and said what do you want to drink we asked for a menu. Then she looks at us and said hurry up the kitchen closes in 15 minutes. I quickly order wings my friend quickly orders nachos and Bam. She continues to walk around with anger and start serving people drinks before finishing taking our drink order. It was like a whirlwind of panic and disdain on her behalf. So she finally slows down for a second and then serves us our drinks. My wings come out and I'll bite into them and they're bleeding. So I just let her know when she says that's not good and take them to the back. Did they make me fresh wings? Nope! They took the wings, one of them which I bit off of, refried them, and then serve them back to me. And I asked her why would I just not get fresh wings and she said because the kitchen was closing and the grease was already turned off. The wings were not taking off on my bill nor was there any apology given. Now my friend at this point is getting very very upset and so am I I was so upset that I have to stop the waitress ask her her name, Brittany, and say why is she being so rude to me. The reason ... because we came in right before the kitchen was supposed to be closing and that annoyed her. I explained to her this is my first time coming here and the prices do not change just because the kitchen closes in 15 minutes unless I'm getting a discount I should get the same service because it wasn't like I came after the Kitchen close. It took for me to let her know that I just moved to Charleston I just want to have a good time and I want to be treated with respect for her to snap out of that mode and someone treat me like a customer. Needless to say I was never stealing anything off my bill. The manager never came out and apologized for the shortcoming. And overall from what I tasted it was not that great to begin with. I'm truly sad because I want it this to be a great experience and the triangle just wound up...
