The Reading Rainbow Academy — Attraction in Charleston

I am very disappointed in the owner of the Reading Rainbow Academy. I trusted her knowing that the first daycare my child experienced was terrible and she told me it wasn’t going to be nothing like that at all. The teachers are amazing And my child loves that school. She says they are a daycare that’s all about the Bible and everything else. She does not work with parents that’s in need and that’s not very holy of her at all. Due to card issues I wasn’t able to do the Friday morning payments but I always made sure that week was paid for same day. She has a contract that forces you to pay online and I told her multiple times that my card is always locked! Every time my card is charged in the morning it doesn’t go through. We have had multiple conversations about this and she said she couldn’t remove me from automatic payments. Since she couldn’t move from automatic payments she decided to stop me early this morning. Didn’t even bring me into the office and proceeded to say this will be your child last day. He loves that school and the fact she did that with no hesitation even though I pay EVERY SINGLE WEEK. Shows me she does not care and the character I met at the beginning was not the same character at the end. Let’s begin by saying that this Academy is a Christian based facility. The owner is a Woman of God who prays over each and every one of our kids daily, as well as the parents. She has amazing resources and works with the children and I am speaking from experience. My son is a handful and has behavioral issues that her and her staff are being patient with and making sure we receive the help needed. Not only are the resources for the children but also for parents cause as a parent it can also be frustrating for us when we don’t know why a child is behaving a certain way. So instead of sending my child away she decided to help. I can literally say that we are a team and a family never have I ever been to any other facility that felt like family it takes a village and they are included in the village. I thank God everyday for this facility and especially the woman of God that he allowed to be over the business. I am grateful, so if anyone is looking for an Academy that prays over you and your children, provides resources and makes you feel like family.
