Aarushi Salon — Attraction in Charlotte

I cannot believe I’ve live around this spot. Seen it 100 of times and never got any services until recently. I’ve been back twice in the last week & honestly I’m ready to go back already. First i originally went for a hair cut. Accepted me as a walk in asked all the questions & cut my hair perfect. Then before I left they asked if I wanted eyebrows too. They weren’t pushy about it either & I had enjoyed the hair cut so much I agreed. First time being threaded & first time actually being HAPPY with my eyebrows not just satisfied as I have a unique shape to my eyebrows. Well I checked out what else they offered and I knew I had to come back for the $80 full body massage. & I did. Not only did they fit me in past closing they didn’t rush it what’s so ever HOURS past close. I tipped extra extra for this so if they do the same for you make sure you show thanks ! And last but definitely not least there restaurant right across the street is soooo good & 100% worth checking out once you’ve completed your services. I went for hair and makeup. I called to ask if I could come 30 minutes prior to my appointment which receptionist allowed me. They started my hair since make up artist was not even there. I asked for simple loose curls. Also showed them picture from their website. Make up artist came late. She started commenting on my eye brows, so I let her fix even though I had them done a day ago. I kept reminding of my time to be at the event. Which she didn't pay any heed and kept threading my eye brows. She started my make up and I asked her for false lashes which she didn't have. I asked her to use white pencil for my eyes and she didn't have that either. My eye make up was a total disaster, no eye shadow, no contouring, no highlighter was used. She kept cleaning the smudges she created while applying mascara and eyeliner. I was very disappointed and my curls were gone after she finished my make. She charged me $162 for such a pathetic make up Which I could have done at home. i will...

I love this place so much. I moved here from Nebraska and thought, surely I'll find a salon in a bigger city that was as great as my beautician in Nebraska...after 3 awful colors, a hatchet job on cutting, I finally found a place that actually listened to me. She took my hair from fried and damaged and gave me some hope that I can bring my hair back to what it was before. I told her I loved Indian food, and it just so happens her family owned a restaurant too. While my hair was processing, she even brought me out a whole Indian dinner! The customer service was so great, added the best threading to my eyebrows and walked out of there feeling like a million bucks.

Oh, and the best part...it took her 3 hours to fix all this damage, but it didn't cost me $500 like all the other salons in the Carolinas. Less than $200 and worth every penny. That included the eyebrows! Thank you so much for the great experience. I finally found my...
