Chex Grill & Wings — Restaurant in Charlotte

This isn’t it. The atmosphere of the restaurant is bizarre- it’s a huge dining space in which at least half of it is occupied by children’s play equipment. Fine. We order and take a seat. The employee at the counter who took our order was totally pleasant and nice, so no problems there. The food was really bland. The best item on my plate were the French fries and they were definitely frozen, standard fare, throwaway fries. My Philly cheesesteak was flavorless- you can tell that the meat hadn’t been seasoned at all and no amount of salt after the fact saved it. Trust me, I tried. My boyfriend ordered a burger. Upon biting into it, spurts of clear grease gushed from the wrapper like water, literally running down the the front of his t-shirt. We shared an order of wings which were similarly nothing to write home about. They were on the crusty side, swimming in a sauce that was quite watery. Meh. I imagine that the reviews rating Chex quite highly are coming from those within close proximity to the restaurant who like patronize it because it’s easy to get to. Compared to other establishments who pride themselves on wings, Chex isn’t even the more economical...

1st of all......... Lets get into it with the wings!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😍😍😂😂😂😊😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋👀 y'all reading this? The strawberry hot wings has been my favorite since August 2022 when my boyfriend had introduced me to them on our first meet face to face !!! 😂 Like here it is June 23rd 2023 At 1237 AM and those wings will never be forgotten with me honey! Lol anyway!!!! I love the fact that they have different location in Charlotte and each one (sometimes) have more flavored wings options than the other. I lovvve the fact they just have different flavors u can pick from and mix and match if you will. Their lemonade is soo sweet u may want to add water and then again u may not 😂 some ppl add alcohol in theirs, but whatever tickles their fancy 😂 some locations have play areas for the babies to work off that food and boost up some energy 😊😊😊😊 definitely kid friendly. I do enjoy the salads here, my favorite is the avocado salad, and the chef salad. The only thing I don't really like is the French fries here, I will say it's not greasy which is awesome, but to me they are just too dry like maybe air fried and no flavor, But the sub's...

11/10 Experience at Chex Wings & Grill

Let me just say, this place exceeded every expectation I had—and then some. First off, a huge shoutout to Isabella at the register. She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and gave me a spot-on recommendation. I asked for something flavorful with a little kick, and she suggested the Cajun Ranch wings—absolutely perfect. Cooked just right, packed with flavor, and honestly some of the best wings I’ve had anywhere.

The restaurant itself is impressively clean. You can tell the staff takes pride in maintaining the place—everything from the tables to the restrooms was spotless.

Also worth mentioning: they have an indoor playground, which is a smart touch for families dining in. While I don’t have kids myself, it’s a nice feature for those who do and adds to the overall welcoming atmosphere.

If you haven’t tried Chex Wings & Grill yet, you’re seriously missing out. Great food, great service (thank you again, Isabella), and a well-kept space. The Cajun Ranch wings are my personal favorite—definitely recommend them if you’re into bold, crave-worthy flavor.
