Mont Carmel Church — Attraction in Charlotte

I had considered attending a service to this church at one time but absolutely not. While I understand that there's a band that plays the music I just cannot understand how inconsiderate these people are. They practice almost every night and as late as 10pm. Forget about your neighbors that has to listen to not beautiful singing but constant (what sounds like) nothing but drums. I am pretty sure Jesus would be much more respectful of neighbors that have children that are go to sleep early because they have school, parents or just working people that have to get up very,very early,someone who's sick to have to endure this night after night. How would the church like it if every Sunday when your service begins that your neighbors start playing music where as your members couldn't hear very clear or rap music with a lot of bass throughout the entire service. It seems as though you don't care about how the noise affects others but only that it is what you want to do. We have tried to be respectful and patient but we want to enjoy our living room, listen to our TV, have a conversation at the dinner table in the dining room and not have to run to the back of the house trying to seek peace. This is total disrespect and has become extremely difficult for to many people. I know that the city has an noise ordinances which has to be followed. I couldn't sit in your church on a Sunday because I can't stand the noise from the 4 to 5 days as this has been going on entirely too long. Respect your neighbors we all have...

My name is Sule Fortuna I’ve been attending elevation church since Ekidz kinda grew up in it. I was always told to find your identity in Christ which I never really understood how to.

I attended Mont Carmel and slowly start to have my life changed and found my God given gift. I slipped a little bit and let my trauma weight me down. I believe that this is my church family that I’ve been looking for but just had a hard time accepting it just because of all the denials I’ve been receiving in my life.

I wanna serve the Lord and my church but with guidance from our Pastors. I was a fool to think that I had it all figured out but now I see that I need my church family more than...

One thing that I do wanna point out is that I believe and have seen that this Church is too quick to judge someone based on their appearance, or actions but nobody is perfect yet expect perfection.

Black Man will always look like a threat because of the hell they went through. Please do your research on what they experienced all those years. If I was just a regular black man and was looking for a place to be loved and I experienced what I just experienced at this church. I don’t think I’ll ever be coming back which will lead that mad back into his sin.

Then comes the question which God do you really serve?
