Como en Mexico — Restaurant in Charlotte

The food is great, the tacos are the best I have tried ever, and I have been to many Mexican places. What they need to work on is the customer service, the server lady that is most of the time there doesn't greet or barely smiles, you have to ask her for straws or silverware, otherwise she will never bring them, the overall interaction with her feels a bit uncomfortable from the beginning. The younger girl that is not usually there is so nice and attentive, she could teach the other lady a lot. The place also needs a face lift, I understand it isn't located in the best area but it can look much better.

I have driven past this restaurant quite a few times and decided to finally give it a try today. It is a smaller restaurant with about 6 tables and a couple barstools at a counter. I had my eye on the enmoladas since they looked delicious. I have never had mole before, but I was in for quite the treat. The mole was rich and packed with flavor, and the enmoladas both smelt and tasted amazing. The chicken stuffed inside was tender, and the rice was cooked perfectly. The portions were also quite generous! I typically don't take leftovers home because I usually finish the food at the restaurant. However, they give you four large enchiladas so this could easily feed two people. The service was great, and they have a decent menu so you should be able to find something...

Quaint cute little Mexican spot for sure. Came with a friend for a late lunch. This place is a bit small with about 5 tables to sit at. They have a variety of items to choose from. Tacos, torta, enchiladas, platos tipicos, quesadilla, Antojitos. We ordered agua de Jamaica and omg it was so delicious! Just the right amount of sweetness to it. My friend ordered 4 tacos de tripa and al pastor. I ordered their torta de milanesa with a side order or French fries and a quesadilla as well. Everything was super delicious and really tasted like Mexican food. Will be back to eat other things...
