I donât usually write reviews but I felt it necessary to write this one as I have had extraordinarily terrible service from Hunter Wyant and team; I would give them 0 stars if I could. I have been a State Farm customer for more than 8 years and I have never had a bad experience with the company until working with Hunter Wyant and his team. They are the most incompetent bunch I have ever had the displeasure of working with. They are not friendly, do not listen and do not handle your problems. I have worked with many agents within the team (Robert, Johana, Tim, Jerry, Stuart and Hunter himself) and I can honestly say I have never had a good experience with any of them. I will give two particular examples:
We had two cars (car A and B), both insured through their office plus renters insurance. We sold car A and got an SUV. We called to remove the insurance from car A and add the SUV. Well they removed the insurance from car B (the car we had not sold). I received mail from the DMV about a month later, saying car B was not insured. Realized they had removed the wrong car, so we called the team to fix it. Week later, nothing has changed. We call again, speak with a different agent. End of week 2 and again, nothing has changed. We call again (this is week 3), speak to the first agent we talked to. End of week 3, and it is still not fixed. I receive another letter in the mail from the DMV. So we go in person to their office and I speak with Hunter Wyant himself in person, and it STILL does not get fixed. So we go back again the next week in person (it has been over a month that we had been trying to get this resolved at this point,) and another agent finally fixes it (Stuart was the one who fixed it, he was actually semi-helpful in this instance and finally resolved this issue).
I moved and a similar issue occurred - I needed to change my renters insurance from covering the old house to the new one. First, they put the wrong start date on the renters insurance. I call right back the same day to change it. Well the next week it has still not been updated, so I call again. Now, instead of updating the date, (I honestly have no clue what they did,) when I look at my policies online I now have TWO renters policies (one for the old house and the new one) instead of just the one.
This was the last straw and I have changed agents. Do not get insurance with Hunter Wyant and team, they provide nothing...
Read moreI have worked with Bryan Lynch for several years now for my personal and business insurance needs. His professionalism and knowledge continuously amaze me, and he goes above and beyond to make sure I not only have fairly priced insurance, but more importantly that I have high the right insurance for myself and my needs.
He is always responsive, whether it is at 8 am or 10 pm, and I can always count on him and his knowledge to answer any questions I have and make it make sense in normal people terms. This time working with Bryan was by far the biggest surprise yet, and State Farm and their rates are the best that I have ever seen.
Bryan saved me about 25% on my annual insurance cost with State Farm. Meanwhile , he also gave me increased, more adequate coverage on my rental homes, as well as protecting myself liability wise and my assets and future income.
He provided correct, comprehensive, and fair priced coverage on my homes, as well as protecting me and my family from financial risk by ensuring if I was to pass away that my mortgages would all be taken care of and my family not left with them, as well as replacing my mortgage payments if I became sick or injured and couldnât work for an extended period of time.
I would suggest that everyone let Bryan take a chance to review your policies and see if he can help you. Even if he canât, which I highly doubt, I am sure his knowledge will show through, and he will point out some things in your policies that you werenât aware of and you will leave the meeting with a much better understanding of the insurance industry and your coverages.
Give him a shot like I did years ago, and I bet you will never work with...
Read moreSTAY AWAY!!!! Where to start. I went to get quotes on insurance for multiple policies since my current provider was raising rates. After speaking with Rowan I decided to go with State Farm. Well that was a huge mistake. I was never asked about how old my roof was of any work we intended to have done on the house. Well make a long story short, after review of my property I was denied home owners insurance. I tried to call and speak to someone and was reassured someone would call me back. I emailed Hunter through my app and he replied back he couldnât find my policy. I did finally get to speak to Rowen, and was not given any options accept coverage will end. If you think that State Farm is going to take care of you think again. In California State Farm is no where to be found for people dealing with the loss of their homes. After this experience I am now confident in saying the same with happen to customers here. I canât even get a phone call back. So I canceled all my policies today and went with Erie. I read reviews and make decisions off good and bad reviews. TIP: Do not cancel your current homeowners until you are covered by your new policy. That is a not a verbal âyou are coveredâ but documented. I wish someone would have told me that! Good Luck on your insurance journey I hope...
