Summary: If you have the money, this is a very nice place. But be ready for corporate management bs where no one takes responsibility
Pros: Pretty much as close to the university as you can get aside from student housing Recent renovated, very large kitchen and living room Outdoor area with a grill, tables and chairs, and hammocks Internet was decently fast
Cons: Maintenance could use a lot of work. Many times the maintenance requests would be checked as completed without actually being completed. One time we overheard one of the maintenance workers speaking with his boss on the phone saying he doesn't know how to fix the problem and was told to 'figure it out'. Later he just left and the problem was marked 'resolved' online. Toilet was broken for 6 weeks before calling an actual plumber instead of some clueless handyman HVAC was broken for pretty much the entire time we were staying, despite requests. If you think that a bucket under the HVAC to collect dripping water counts then sure it was 'fixed.' And you pay electricity bills on the broken HVAC. There were termites in one of the rooms, and when we moved out tried to charge us for the hilariously shoddy paint job the maintenance did Internet would randomly cut out for hours/days Payment issues. Make a spreadsheet or take screenshots of the payments and maintenance for your own sake as the online history disappears. Tried to charge us for security deposit twice Charged us for the above termite damage along with a door slat that was broken when we moved in 2 free parking spots turned into $50-75 monthly for each spot 10.7% rent increase despite renewal Service charge when paying that was not there before Careful with autopayment, one roommate moved out but the autopayment charged him for the month of July after our lease ended
For how much money rent is here, these problems should not exist. Seriously, get it together. There was one really helpful employee named Allie, but since the company got bought out I'm not sure she is...
Read moreThe location is the only the saving this apartment. Management is absolutely horrible. They don't care for their tenants at all. I had a broken washer and had filed a work order. They did not get around to replacing for 2 weeks. Super unprofessional and there was no reimbursement for inconveniences or letters of apology. Do not expect work orders to be done in a timely fashion or to be completed effectively. We have constantly complained about a leaking fridge and they did nothing to fix it. I repeat that they do not care for tenants at all so if you do have something broke be prepared to live with it for the next two weeks. There was black molding in our shower and I filed a work order which they never got around to fixing. Also be prepared for them to schedule tours to your own apartment to other potential renters without your permission and on short notice. I've never heard of a company letting their tenants know 1-2 days before that they will be intruding in your personal space. They also raise the rent of the units every year for very bs reasons. Please do not live here because their customer service...
Read moreOur sons were experiencing health complications due to the air quality in their previous lease. Thankfully, we were able to connect with Ally, who quickly found a suitable unit for them. Within just five days of our initial and three days after meeting with the young men, she had arranged everything. Ally showed genuine compassion as she worked closely with the parents and the sons to secure an accommodation that truly met their needs. Both Morgan and Anna were equally incredible in mobilizing them - together, they turned what began as a very difficult rental experience into a hopeful path forward, helping us recover time lost to health struggles and the stress of moving. The painters and maintenance team also went above and beyond with their kindness and support. We are deeply grateful to Ally, Morgan, and Anna. They clearly care about the students and are committed to partnering with parents when it matters most. Thank...
