Klöckner Stadium — Attraction in Charlottesville

We went to the UVA vs. Maryland game yesterday and had a great time. We parked at the Arena Garage which was easy enough to get into, but probably took about 30 minutes to get out of given all the traffic. My son and his buddy wanted to take their lacrosse sticks, which was not allowed. We did take “camping” chairs. The chairs were allowed, but the bags that they are in are not allowed, so take the chair out of the bag before you head that way. Great family atmosphere sitting over on the hill across from the stands. Decent concessions; the prices were not too high, but you can carry in your own stuff in a clear bag. Overall...

Great stadium for watching soccer and lacrosse! There are amphitheater style bleachers as well as a grass area for sitting. There is very little overhead coverage though, so bring sunscreen or rain gear...
