I was previously on the phone with this store and remained on the phone for well longer than 40 minutes. I had originally made an order for one large cheese pizzas, one large the works, and garlic knots with marina sauce. The order summed up to $36.47. When I called back, because the woman on the phone had forgotten to ask us what type of crust we wanted, they got a nasty attitude. They told us the order had already been sent. However, the order they spoke of was one large cheese pizza sent to the opposite side of grounds. Aka, the wrong order. After repeating my name several times, the spelling, my order, and the amount, they eventually got so frustrated that they decided to actually look at previous orders and realized they made the mistake. Keep in mind, the manager had an attitude the entire time she was speaking to me only for me to end up and find out she was the one who made my original order. When she had made my original order, I ended up realizing that she did not only forget to ask me what type of pizza I wanted but she also did not take my address. So they had no idea where to send my food but they for sure took my $36.47. We remained on the phone again for over 40 minutes with an unprofessional manager, a confused employee, and a delivery man who used my number to text me personally (unwanted and unsolicited, I understand "shooting your shot" but, I was no where near interested and it seemed extremely unprofessional). Needless to say, they will never see my business again. If I could rate this Papa John's lower than 1 star, it would be more than well deserved. Upper management will be called tomorrow. Read moreAmidst a pretty poor customer service experience, a delivery driver named Jamal really made my night. I had tried placing an order for two large pizzas at around 4:10 pm and kept being put on hold until I could finally place an order at around 4:45. Then when I ordered I was told my order would take an hour and a half to get to me. I waited two hours and at that point decided to start calling them. I called about 8 times and received no answer. I then called customer service twice who tried to put me through to the location and they didn't answer both times. At this point it was almost 7 and I decided this was getting ridiculous. I was about 5 min from the location so I got on my bike and went to the Papa johns location. Right as I was nearing the restaurant, I got a call. It was my delivery driver saying that he was at my place with my pizza. I told him where to wait and he waited patiently until I was there. When I got there he was really understanding and told me what was going on (essentially that they were really busy and understaffed). He handed me one pizza and I asked him if there was another one for me since I ordered two pizzas. He told me that there wasn't anything there for me but that he will go back and check and give me a call. I waited about twenty minutes and didn't hear from him so I called him. He advocated for me and made sure the second pizza, that hadn't been made, was made and he delivered it to me fresh out of the oven. Shout...
Read moreRude, unpleasant, and impatient driver, couldn't wait even 3 minutes for retrieval even though it was contactless delivery. Also, when asked why they don't follow their own policy for contactless delivery they said "They're worried the pizza might be stolen, before the customer retrieves it." Yeah, it might be less likely to be stolen if it was delivered to my door, not thrown in the driveway or not having the driver sitting in the car and having to retrieve it. I must also say that it's nice knowing that Papa Johns values us, the customers, less than a box of pizza. Because who doesn’t like being told we rather you catch COVID than lose a box of pizza.
