This was the second time we have been to this restaurant. So disappointing. All of the bottled condiments on the table were super old and greasy and riddled with fruit flies. The salt in the shaker was so old it was stuck together and I had to ask for it to be refilled. It was also covered in grease. The food was over cooked and super bland. I ordered hot tea and it was barely warm. We had the buffet there once before which was average but a bit oily. I am not new to food from this part of the world and was looking forward to having it. It was so disappointing. My husband used the restroom and was horrified by the amount of brown water all.over the toilet and floor and the lota sitting in the middle of the floor. we won't go back there again. It's disappointing also because I know what most Americans think when they hear "Afghanistan". They think dirty terrorists. I am Muslim and try to support Muslim businesses both South Asian and Middle eastern but I cannot recommend this place. It was filthy and the food was poorly prepared. And it was all men in there. Where are the women who are probably the good cooks? If the teenage boy who waited on us was the cook, it definitely showed. Don't even bother with this place. I feel like there isn't much keeping this place open. It was absolutely empty except for men hanging around in the parking lot. A bit...

Read moreI made the mistake of returning to this restaurant after a previous poor experience with customer service. I used to love this place—the food was great—but tonight was by far the worst experience I've had. The service was incredibly slow, and when my drink arrived, it came in a dirty glass with lipstick marks. We were a party of four, but only received three sets of silverware and three glasses. I waited patiently, but when I noticed tables that arrived after us were being served first, I decided to speak up. I told the server that I wanted to pay for the side salad I had already eaten (which was part of the meal I ordered) and leave, as I no longer wanted to wait for my food. Instead of understanding, the server argued with me, insisting I needed to wait for my meal and take it. I made it clear that I didn’t want the food anymore and just wanted to pay for what I'd consumed. To my surprise, I was told that if I didn’t want to wait for the full meal, I shouldn’t return to the restaurant. I informed them that I wouldn’t be coming back, given the repeated poor service. To top it off, I was charged $17 for a salad that was supposed to be complimentary with my meal, which I never even received. The lack of respect for customers...
