Concord Baptist Church — Attraction in Chattanooga

Not a bad church per say, but I was a member here from 2001 to 2017 and I can tell you if you don’t fit in a certain demographic you will not fit in or be accepted. If you are white and middle class and like giving 10% of your income you will fit in great. If you are actually a broken sinner looking to worship with other humble and broken sinners this is not the place for you. Unless you like a whole lot of judgement cast your direction from other members who act like they do no wrong you know the “Sunday Show”. We tried to visit about a year ago. Walked into the big entrance between the sanctuary and what appeared to be the classroom wing. There were no greeters or signs pointing us where to take our son to the kids’ area.

We stood there for several minutes looking around, even pointing while we talked hoping someone would help us.
