I have been wanting to go to this museum for quite awhile, went there on Jan. 5th 2019 and it was well worth it. The Staff were very friendly and informative I learned a lot about trucking through the early years. The vehicles were what I went to see, they are very well preserved although the building is a little cramped it was still a Very good experience. I Highly recommend to put this on your list to see if you are in to restored vehicles of any kind.

We stopped in briefly after spending time at the Cherry Who-ville Christmas on Main Street. I’m so glad they were open! The trucks were awesome but the best part was how special the man volunteering made my children feel. He made the experience extra special! Would love to come back when they are not so tired and we can visit longer!

Great place to visit. Admission is free but they do take donations and if you can please donate something to keep this great piece of history going. They have great knowledge of the company and do a great job of sharing it with you on your visit. I would highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area.

Wow! One of the best tours I've ever taken. Mrs Bumgarner (sp?) did a very passionate job of showing her appreciation of the company, by providing great detail of an American success story, when companies took pride in their people and showed it. From the roots of the beginning of trucking; taking place in a small community that put their all in transporting the goods that the nation needed, and through that, took care of their own families with a bright present and future. This was an experience that everyone...

After hearing the story of C Grier Beam and how he got started in the trucking business, he was quite a savvy fellow! The museum is not large but does tell the story of one of the largest trucking firms in the US which was based in Cherryville, NC. The largest part of the museum is a collection of truck cabs from the different eras of Carolina Freight. If you love trucks and like to see how truck engines have changed through the years, this is the...
