Ronald’s Express Grill — Restaurant in Cherryville

I was looking for somewhere inexpensive and family-friendly to eat near Lincolnton, NC. I stumbled upon this place and decided to give it ago after seeing the good reviews and amazing prices. It did not disappoint! The food here is fresh and well seasoned like a home cooked meal, and all at some of the best prices for diner food I've seen in the whole state! I got the grilled chicken plate with sides of green beans, mac and cheese and a biscuit. The grilled chicken absolutely blew my mind. I've never eaten grilled chicken so flavorful and tender, it was better here than at any of the fine dining restaurants I've been to and was a much more affordable price. The green beens had the usual southern style flavor, very tender and well salted. The mac and cheese was REAL mac and cheese, with shredded cheese and sour cream instead of cheap cheese sauce like some places. The biscuit was also a good addition and was great for sopping up the extra oil and seasoning from the juicy grilled chicken. I 100% recommend this restaurant, it is an absolute GEM in a humble...

This was absolutely not only for me, my son and my superintendent one of the absolute best meals we have had in a long time unanimously.

The price was more than just extremely reasonable. Cannot think of one other place where you can get this type of quality and amazing food for anywhere close to what Ronald’s really good prices are.

The food is always good, and they don't give you a hard time about requests, such as asking for no onions on something, and the food has always been correct when I've eaten here. The food tends to come to you pretty fast and the overall atmosphere is laid back. My in-laws have gone in right before closing a couple of times and they were still seated and orders taken. Overall, great place... don't listen to the Shake Shop or Black's grill (I like the food from both places) die hards of Cherryville, Ronald's is a good place with reasonable prices, even compared to fast...
