Imagine the worst restaurant you have ever been to... Now multiply that times twenty and here you have it. We ate there once before but shrugged it off and thought maybe we ordered the wrong thing and tried it again. They always have buisness here so how bad can it be right? I guess that is due to the fact that there is nowhere to eat in cherryville. So we sat down and I asked the waitress what their best dish was, what where they known for and was told to order the chicken fried something, green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy. I was asked if I wanted biscuit or a roll and upon requesting a biscuit the waitress replied something to the effect of, "I wouldn't order that if I were you, they aren't good, I'll bring you a roll. Of course the roll couldn't be messed up, it was a pull apart roll from the grocery store; unheated, unbuttered, unanything. The dinner literally looked like they opened a banquet meal and plopped it on the plate. The chicken fried chicken was the width of a pencil. Your basic, cheap, frozen, breaded patty from the grocery store. The mashed potatoes had to be from a box, watered down and smothered with burnt gravy. And the greenbeans.... The green beans just take the cake. They simply opened a can of green beans, warmed them in the water they were stored in and served them. No salt, no pepper, no nothing. The restuarant looks like it hasn't been updated or changed in twenty years or even cleaned for that matter. The decor chosen for the establishment was hooked together paper banners and paper eggs hanging from every empty space of the ceiling that looked like it was donated from a vacation bible school twenty years ago and got lost in an attic. And to top it all off, when we went to check out there were two really old woman at the cash register who both looked at us and didn't say a thing. They took our money and we left. No how was it, how's your day, how are you, have a nice day, good bye, nothing. They could have grunted at me and I would have felt less uncomfortable. We weren't rude to these people at all. We laughed amongst ourselves at the table because that's just how bad this place was, but we weren't loud or mean in anyway. As we were walking out the door we seen a newspaper article that explained everything and helped us understand what had went wrong here. The chef had died around five years ago. So instead of closing their doors, they decided to feed their guests banquet meals instead. I asked my boyfriend, do they not taste this food!? How could you have your very own restaurant and disrespect your guests enough to serve that junk!? I would be embarrassed and ashamed! I don't see how this restaurant hasn't become a laughing stock of the community! Its that bad people. Absolutely bottom of...
Read moreOkay my husband went in there last night and ordered a Philly cheese steak,a grilled chicken salad, and a grilled chicken sandwich. The grilled chicken sandwich and Philly cheesesteak was right but they gave me a chicken salad plate instead of a grilled chicken salad so I didn't eat that and my husband didn't either so we just threw it to the dogs and when I called up there to fix the order she said that she would just do better next time instead of replacing the order and it was just a salad wasn't something that cost too much at all I was asking for them to fix the salad they refuse to do it I will not be eating back there my husband's chicken sandwich and Philly cheese steak was good to him except he had to give me his chicken sandwich so I would give this a a one point and a half but it only does two because of that but I would not give a five-star and the reason that would be is because the lady on the phone said that it was their fault because they thought it was a chicken salad but a specifically said grilled chicken salad so they would not fix their mistake and they said it...

I brought this to our waitress's attention thinking it was just a mistake and was told this was correct and if I wanted another piece it would 2.50 more. I ask to speak with someone in charge and spoke with the owner. I addressed her as ma'am and explained my concerns. I showed her the sandwich and she said I could buy another piece. She was rude and would hardly speak with me. Her staff was great and provided good service, but if this is how the owner conducts business I will refrain from spending money at...
