Emiri Menswear & Alterations — Attraction in Chesterfield Township

I bought two pairs of pants and a pair of shoes. He did a great job with the fitting and alterations. The shoes were two different colors which wasn’t discovered until I took them outside. He questioned me on it and gave me a hard time until he checked the shoe area, and found the other black shoe. Upon paying for the merchandise, the gentleman said it’s a cash only business with no paperwork or taxes. I didn’t have enough on me for the purchase, so I gave him the cash I had then went to get the rest from the bank. I had to leave the shoes there as collateral, until I returned with the rest of the money. I brought the remaining money left and left with the shoes and noticed they were mismatched as said before. He said the pants would be ready with their alterations the next day. I returned to pick the pants up and tried them on. They fit great! As we were leaving the store he questioned me about the remaining balance due. I said it was paid in full the other day, he looked confused and asked me to bring the balance back. It wasn’t noted on the handwritten receipt that the bill was paid in full as mentioned before. Still looking puzzled, we left the store. A day later we were looking at the pants and noticed there was an area on the leg where the material was faded in a location it would be noticeable We brought the pants back to the store to show him and he said we must’ve done this, and he wouldn’t do a thing about it. Emiri worked directly with me to pick out a suit, tie and shirt and extra pair of pants for an upcoming wedding. As always, my wife had her ideas of what she would like me to wear. Emiri has a direct manner about him but respectful. He knows his business has his opinions and did a great job of getting me the outfit that both my wife and I liked.

He did a very good job on first time alterations and they were quick even though my needs were not urgent. He folded and pressed, a very nice elegant pocket square that matched the tie. I can never get these right. It was also a good experience in buying the shirt as well. I am glad I got it from Emiri as he measured me and sized a shirt that fits me much better than those you pick up off the shelf in some generic size. He cares that you look good and are ready to go to your event. The shirt he will steam and press so you can leave there 100% ready to go.

His prices are very reasonable for not only the suit and pants but also on the shirt given the good quality of material and workmanship. He also gave a discount for cash payment versus credit card if that is of interest to others. Our daughter has had the same experience a couple years ago. This store has a great selection of suits/dress shirts/shoes/etc. Mostly Italian inspired designs, I was pleasantly surprised with my experience as I came across a vast assortment of merchandise and the actual suit material itself, both inside and out, was top-quality. The owner is an extremely nice gentlemen and treated me only with care and respect. Come to find out, he's been a tailor for 50+ years! I'm glad I didn't end up purchasing the suit I found at Men's Warehouse because I would of paid a lot more money for a considerably lower quality suit.
