Cicero Community Park — Attraction in Cicero

Great live music great food & vendors. After a difficult weather week the locals were very ready to get out and present a great festival! Cicero PD & Firefighter/paramedics on site keeping a watchful eye on the fun crowd. MNy food options & live musical a ts for everyone! After getting my plate of tacos for lunch & a great Agua fresca we took a seat to catch the lunchtime sounds of Caliente..great fun & great crowd. Hats off to the Town of Cicrro for bringing this fun festival to the area unfortunately nothing good yo say about the EXTREMELY lackluster security team who were wearing Monterey Security shirts. Everyone on their phone while people passed by them in clearly gated areas. I will say the young men in the parking area were very diligent...I was told by a Festival-goer that the same issues occurred the day before. .. there was zero confidence within the audience with regards to Monterey Security who's, I'm assuming, paid their employees to be on their phones. Certainly cannot blame the town but they may want to reconsider Monterey Security services in future events! Everything else from rides to food to...

If your looking for “pet friendly” then keep searching I was told to pick my dog up and leave because my dog couldn’t be on the grass or be touching the cement as well (it was a little hot that day my dog is all black and he wanted to rest because the heat was making him tired tends to happen when you have a black dog ) I was followed by sum type of security to make sure I left the property and followed almost to my car (my dog is a papillon and doesn’t even make the 10lbs scale he is well behaved and loves everyone and even plays with dogs ten times more bigger than him) I felt enraged by how they handled the situation my mom wanted an explanation as to why there were two other dogs there and they both were misbehaving and the owners left the waste of there dogs behind, and they weren’t told to leave the “security” if there were no dogs allowed, but the guy completely ignored her and was rude. If I could I would give it a lower rating because it is not right for someone to do this to anyone and this wasn’t the first time this happened either so don’t recommend this...

The public park on its own is great. Pretty quiet and there is a “community service” officer there at all times. When there are events in the summer it can get very crowded and hard to find parking which can be frustrating for people who live in the area. After big events there is usually trash everywhere but the town is quick to clear it out and clean it up.
