Hyde Park Square — Attraction in Cincinnati

This small square has a great little farmers market early on Sundays in warmer months. The market is nice. The surrounding buildings are mostly nice businesses and apartments from the first half of last century, including some in classical and Art Deco styles. The park-like center of the square is mostly shaded by trees, with a nice little fountain and a flagpole. It is quite pleasant during the market, and had live music while we were there. Without the streets blocked off for that event, I fear it would be bit less pleasant with more traffic to dodge to get into the park-like central part of the square, and...

A beautiful little urban square park with a fountain and great shops surrounding it. I recommend getting some Graeter's ice cream and crossing over into the park to sit and enjoy it! Wonderful place for a farmers market. It would benefit from more chairs. Also, there were a couple playing music in the sun! It was so hot and the only place they could set their stuff was in the sun. I wish there was a way to keep them cool and in the shade.
