AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Went for a birthday last night with a group of 10 people, where this automatically allows them to add 20% gratuity to each check. This is going to come in handy for the server when the bill comes. A friend & i split a bottle of wine, which the menu doesnt spell out names, rather " Merlot from Napa California" which on the menu reads $32. I ordered the hummus plate $9, which consists of 4 slices of cucumber & 8 pita breads & 2 large scoops of hummus. Imagine my surprise when the bill comes and it's $37 dollars. When i pointed out that he charged us $20 each for a $32 dollar bottle of wine, he's like " you got the Ramsey bottle of wine", like that was supposed to clear it up. So while he's running our cards I'm looking over the menu "Ramsey" is NEVER mentioned on the menu and there was no bottle of merlot from Napa California that cost $40. While I'm investigating other people of the party are looking at their bill, where they find drinks weren't accurate. The waiter proceeds to tell them things like "drinks got lost & it's cheaper than it would've cost you". I think the waiter took advantage of the situation and thinking we wouldn't argue the bills. Aside from this post, I'll be calling the...
Read moreI have never been treated so disrespectfully and unprofessionally at unwind. As my first time here, all I did was come in for a bottle of wine to go. The bartender who closed the night of 12/6 was short fused, muttered “Jesus Christ” when I asked for help and proceeded to throw the check book at me across the table. I will never be coming back unless it is to speak to a manager as well as putting in a bad word to friends and family. I hope something is seriously wrong in his life to act this way. Ridiculous. To the owner- The restaurant was still open and was closing 30 minutes before the close time on the website. One female worker invited me in and said it was no problem to serve me. Bad day or not, I am glad my review is public. My friend and I will both be giving a call when the...
Read moreMyself and my husband were sat at the “high top” (outside countertop where they keep the menus). The place was underwhelming and was not at all crowded. The 2 staff working on the outside patio walked past us a total of 5 times within the 10-20 minutes after we were seated without giving us so much as a look in our direction. We decided to leave when one member of the staff went up to the table that was seated after us to take their order while the other staff member (that sat us) took a phone call (we passed them talking on the phone after leaving while walking down the street and around the block to our vehicle). This was very disappointing to us. We will not be going back and will recommend other wine bars in the area based on...
