The ADCo Distillery and Production — Attraction in City of Albany

Once you arrive and see the small garage door, with Albany Distilling Company nicely painted, connected to the Albany Pump Station, it can make you second think your in the right place. Don't worry you are. Go right on in the door that makes reference to a cat. The distillery is on the supply area of the pump. But plenty enough room for them to do what they need. The tour was given by one of the owners. He was very knowledgeable and kind. Gave a lot of history of the area and takes you through every process of making there bourbon. And to top it off his little orange cat will keep ya company. There is a small tasting of the 3 bourbon they sell. And again he will take you through the tasting process. Stopped by on a Saturday (it is only open like Tuesday evening and Saturday??). There is a small tasting bar right in the middle of the operation, just in front if the still. We talked to the owner for a bit, who was very passionate and very informative. I have been to several distillers and many brewery operations, and this was by far the most informative and best one I have been to so far. It is small, but it is awesome. Well worth stopping in.
