Overall a nice spot with plenty of room to launch and park the trailer! However, with the $7 fee, there are a few things that could make this a great launch. 1) There was no attendant on-site. Maybe we just hit an odd time when nobody was around, but would e nice to have someone directing traffic and have people move off to the side/parking lot while unloading or strapping down boat to clear the ramps quicker. 2) The parking lot. They’re are lot of massive mud filled pot holes that you have to be careful of. Go slow and expect a muddy trailer if it rained recently. 3) Dock cleats. Not a big deal, but the dock we were on needed some new cleats. Plastic ones completely broken and useless....

Most boat owners are inconsiderate and ignorant because they don't have their boats ready to launch when they reach the launch ramps. WHEN YOUR BOAT REACHES THE LAUNCH RAMP, ITS SUPPOSED TO BE READY TO GO IN THE WATER. NOT, load coolers, tie ropes, place their bumpers, inflate tubes or load flotion devices. Read moreThis is the launch we use to access Canandaigua Lake while boating. Has a pretty big parking area as well as "overflow" area. Gets busy on weekends and holidays, but they're pretty good about monitoring the green and red flags to optimize the traffic. Restrooms are always clean that I see and staff there are always friendly.
Admission is $7, but there are several passes that allow you to get in for free. There's a free senior pass that allows free weekday admission, and a purchased pass (Empire, I think?) that allows free any day...
