The people at Lynchs are all very friendly. Margie helped me to find what I needed and was extremely helpful. I am pleased with the pieces I bought. However I did have some issues and ended up paying more than I had planned in the end. The first time they came to deliver my furniture was not on the truck so I had to wait another week. The 2nd time they delivered it but after they left I discovered that the recliner was not what I ordered. The guys were extremely apologetic and kind. I called and talked to Matt who was also very apologetic. I ended up going to the store the next day and switching to the fabric that they had on hand which worked out because then I didn't have to wait another 5 weeks. I also ordered a love seat with 2 power options. Unfortunately the one they had in the warehouse had 3 power options so I would have to wait for them to order that one and I was scheduled for knee surgery the following week. The 3rd option would add an additional $200 to the price and I had hoped they would waive that considering all that I had been through and the amount of money I was spending. But they did not and so I decided to pay it so that I wouldn't have to wait yet again to get the piece considering my surgery was that following week. While they were all very nice it is disappointing that I was not compensated for all that I went through considering I was cooperative and amicable through it all. As they say the squeaky wheel really does get the grease. Nice people, great...
Read moreNot impressed with the customer service I received today by Mr Lynch - while communicating through the whole order, we were told today shortly before delivery that Lynch received the wrong love seat in our set. Mr Lynch did not offer to be accommodating or reduce the balance by even a small kind gesture $50-$100, I would like to add that we paid for the furniture in full the only balance remaining to be paid was the tax and the $100 stain-guard which is an optional service. Lynch's should have noticed the error in the delivery when the furniture was received at their facility from the factory. Or prior to the stain-guard application that is supposed to happen prior to delivery. I would also like to mention we were told six weeks for delivery, today is week 9 and 4 days. This all was after we had agreed to buy the furniture that was on the sales floor, but were told when getting ready to pay that the loveseat on the sales floor had been sold. Needless to say I will be taking my business else where and encouraging family and friends to do the same. We were truly wanting to support a local business and Made in America product and we got horrible customer service and were treated as if we were just another customer at a big box store, and Mr Lynch didnt want to do anything for us. So much for "If we don't treat you better than anywhere else you've shopped; See Me, I'm the guy whose name is on the door."-...
Read moreDO NOT buy from this company. Despite the âfolksyâ, friendly sounding radio ads, they and by they Iâm mean the owner, do NOT stand behind their products. My wife and I have purchased numerous furniture pieces from Lynchâs over the years and when we had a problem with a loveseat we had recently purchased, we got ZERO support.
I spoke directly with the owner, you know, âthe guy whose name is on the doorâ and he had no interest whatsoever in working through this situation with me. Additionally, he had little concern that he was losing a long time customer who has spent thousands of dollars with him. The manufacturer of the love seat and sofa we purchased, had gone out of business. That was his bottom line answer. He then asked me, âWhat do you expect me to do?!â I responded, âI expect you to have this repaired and bear the cost.â He quickly said he would not. I told him that he doesnât stand behind his products and he refuted that but his inaction relative to my concern was a clear example of NOT standing behind your products and HORRIBLE customer service.
When I told him I would no longer buy anything from him and would encourage people to do likewise, his flippant response was, âDo what youâve gotta do.â
Again, I share this as a heads up that while the selection is good and they deliver for free, if you have an issue down the road, you are S.O.L.!!!...
