My family is always on the hunt for outstanding pizza places with rave reviews, and COHO was highly recommended. We were intrigued by their special limited pizza, with only 25 available each day. When we arrived, there was only one left, and we eagerly ordered it. However, our excitement quickly turned to disappointment when the pizza was served to our table completely undercooked.
The pizza was a disaster. None of the pepperoni was cooked, and the cheese wasn't even melted, as evident in the photo below. It was a major letdown, especially considering the price we paid. I sincerely hope that this was not the standard for their pizza preparation and presentation.
Despite the pizza, I must give credit where it's due. Other aspects of COHO were commendable. The drinks were fantastic, the appetizers were appetizing, and the overall atmosphere was enjoyable. Our server was attentive and friendly, adding to the positive experience. It's clear that COHO has the potential to deliver an exceptional dining experience, but they seriously need to address the issue with their pizza.
While COHO fell short with their poorly executed pizza, I can't deny the other positive aspects of our visit. If they can improve their pizza quality and consistency, I believe they have the makings of a remarkable restaurant. However, for now, I can only caution others about their subpar pizza and recommend exploring other options unless...
Read moreWent after randomly finding it online while on vacation in the area! Service was great, all the waitresses were super kind and attentive. Love the atmosphere as well, it was clean and welcoming.
While there, we ordered the garlic parmesan fries (loved), nachos, chicken parmesan (loved), and zeppolis.
The garlic parm fries were delicious. The photo was taken after we already began eating some because they just looked so good (and were). Were definitely a little strong with the cheese (which wasn't a bad thing), you just gotta be a fan of cheese to have a lot.
The nachos were one of the specials that my friend ordered. She wasn't the biggest fan, describing the meat to be just "fine" and expected the nachos themselves to be a bit better.
I ordered the chicken parm and it was just delicious. Couldn't recommend it more. I'd never had it sandwich-style before but it was done incredibly well and I would order it again.
The zeppolis were the most disappointing. They weren't super fluffy and were honestly kinda tough while chewing. We didn't eat very many.
Overall, loved it and would totally recommend it to anyone in the area! We would love to go back and try some...
Read moreDined here for lunch on Saturday afternoon of Labor Day weekend. The experience was fine overall. Our server was friendly and attentive, and the Pizza Al Taglio was okay (comparable to something I could make at home with kids). Our server said it was like focaccia (which is light, fluffy, and dosed in olive oil), but it was not. It was more dense and dry. Not terrible, but not what I’d expect for $34.
From reading other reviews, it seems there may be some issues with reservation management. We arrived without a reservation and were told there were only two tables left for walk-ins, even though the restaurant was half empty. During our meal, only two other parties came in, so most of the “reserved” tables stayed empty for the ~2 hours we were there. Including the outside tables which we would have preferred to sit.
It might help if the restaurant implemented a fee for no-shows or limited the number of reservations to balance things better. Again, nothing bad happened, but the overall experience wasn’t as good as it...
